[Spawn vs. Hulk Part 1]

Practice a bit more

Meh, wasn't really a good sprite movie. I've seen worse though. Anyway it's not really something very original, I see ...VS... movies everyday here on Newgrounds. Anyway, I see it's just your first flash so I shouldn't expect to much. There were a couple of things that could use a little improvement.

First of all, the special effects need some improvement. The blood and the fights didn't really looked that good. Second, probably the most important thing, the text was unreadable at some parts of the movie. I suggest that you either change it in some different color like white or you put the text somewhere at the bottom or at the sides of the screen. At the end, the text went way to fast, I couldn't read anything of it. I hope you'll fix that little thing.

Well I can barely think of any other bad part of this. I'd say it would be better if you learned how to draw, but if your sure that you can't draw anything better then stickman keep on making sprite movies, cause sprite movies are better then most stick movies. I also hope that the storyline will make sense and that it's an original one.

Of course there were also some good parts in this movie. The sounds were pretty good although the sounds for when they walked sounded more like a horse walking. Anyway the music was pretty nice as well. I also liked the different backgrounds, they looked pretty good in my opinion.

So overall I'd give this 4 out of 10, 2 out of 5. Like I said, it wasn't really that good, but I've seen worse. I ain't really that interested in the second episode, but I'll keep an eye out for it anyway to see if you got any better. I think you should practice a bit more with the special effects and I hope part two will be a lot better then this. Anyway good luck with the rest of the series and with any other projects you were going to make in the future.

[Mario Vs Link Part 1]

I would remake this if I were you

Wow, you know, I've just seen part 3 and if I compare that to this part, this is very crappy. I guess that's only a positive thing since that means you are improving a lot. The score of part 3 is more then twice as high then the score of this episode, that's quite impressive I'd say.

Lot of things that could be improved. I doubt you're going to improve this, but I'll tell them to you anyway. First of all, there was no reason at all for Link and Mario to fight. They just saw eachother, then it was like "?" and then they started fighting. So this surely needs a better story line. Second, a bit weird that Link survived all those attacks, even the sword that was piercing through him. You should add some fairy that revives him or something else. Third, I don't really like the current music, I've seen you've already changed that in part 3. I guess that's just a matter of taste anyway. Fourth, this part was kinda short. You should add extra scenes and stuff, but I guess it's too late for that now.

The good things were that the sprites looked pretty good, not those SNES-sprites luckily. Those are used in 95% of the Link and Mario movies. The sounds in this were also pretty good.

Overall I'd give this 3 out of 10, 1 out of 5. Like I said, you've improved a lot, I hope you'll keep on getting better. I don't think you feel like it, but if I were you, I would remake this part and make it a lot better. Anyway, I'm gonna check out part 2 now, although I don't think I'll review that one. [Mario Vs. Link Part 3]

Could use a little improvement

This was pretty cool. I haven't watched part 1 and 2 yet, I guess I should check them out. Anyway this was a pretty cool movie, I enjoyed watching this. However there were a couple of things that could be a bit better though.

First of all, you should make the text go a bit slower. I couldn't read half of it cause it was already gone then. Second, you should make the camera stand still more often instead of changing the camera-position hundred times. The movie was a bit hard to follow at certain moments. The action also went way to fast, I barely knew what exactly happened. Third, I think it needs a better ending. Currently it looks like you became a bit lazy and wanted to finish the movie as soon as possible. At the end, I could read "Link is your Winner" and the screen was already turning black. You could make some ending scene with Zelda and Link, unless you wanna make a part 4 of course. Fourth, I think you should make the movie a bit longer. You could also make the movie run a bit slower, so it will automaticly become longer. Fifth, not very important, but I'm sure there are some sounds for Link and Mario (you know, those screaming sounds like "whraa","wuhaa" etc.). It would be nice if you added those. Sixth, that army of koopaa's didn't seem to play any role at all, so you might as well remove that part or switch for some other scene.

There were also a couple of good parts in this movie. First of all, the sprites looked pretty good. You normally see those SNES-sprites, but these looked a lot better. Second, the music was pretty good and the sounds were good as well. Since these two things are very important, I'll still give it a pretty high score.

Overall I'd give this 7 out of 10, 3 out of 5. Even though all those things that could use some improvement, I still think it's a pretty cool movie. Like I said, I think I'm going to check part 1 and 2 out. I saw that this might not be the end of the series, I'll keep an eye out for part 4 then I guess. [Sydney]

Looked pretty cool

Say, this looked kinda cool. I haven't seen anything made with 3d movie maker before or maybe Hoe Mansion, but you don't see much of this stuff everyday.

I think the movie looked pretty good. A bad part was that it was a bit short. I dunno how long this movie took you to make, but I think you should make this a bit longer. Hopefully it didn't took that long. You could add some extra scenes, you know, stuff like were you can see that Sydney gets a mission from the FBI or whoever and has to infiltrate in a building were those robots are the guards and she has to get some kind of disk or something. That'll make it a lot better. You could also add something more original then my idea, just try to think of some storyline. I also don't know if you can change the quality with that program, but I think the quality needs to be turned up a tiny bit. The part were the robot was shot could use some special effects as well.

There were also a couple of good things. The sounds were pretty good, the music was nice and even though the graphics were not always that clear, they still looked pretty good with those 3d-effects. If you would only made this longer and with a storyline, then it'll be an awesome movie.

So overall I'd give this 7 out of 10, 3 out of 5. Like I said, it looked kinda cool, but was pretty short. I think you've done pretty well for one of your first submissions. I would say, keep it up and good luck with any future projects.

[A day in the life of]

Wasn't very promising

Meh, not really a good movie. I saw this was just a test and all that, but you don't have to submit this on NG then. Many people just submit it for some weird reason. Maybe they hope to get a suprisingly high score or something.

Anyway, there were a couple of bad things about this. First of all, the graphics could be a lot better. There was too much ur... what's the word?... use of "tints" (I hope you know what I mean). You might think people will like it that way, but I think it just looks very bad. The last part with the tank could also use some improvement, cause it looked very crappy. Second, you should add some more sounds. Those are pretty important actually. Especially part two, that really needs some sword sounds. Third, the character introductions at the beginning was really unnecessary. Like the ninja that could become liqued, he didn't do that in the movie anyway. So, if I were you I would remove all that, cause it makes no sense.

Well I know this was all just a test so you probably wouldn't improve anything I've written above. Anyway I hope you'll get better at flash, cause this wasn't very promising. Overall I'd give it 4 out of 10, 2 out of 5. Good luck with any future projects then.

[Tails and his GBA 2]

Hey, I remember this..

Hey, I remember this, part one was submitted quite a while ago right? That was the one with the Mario and Sonic games I thought. This part is also pretty cool actually I liked it.

Lot's of good things about this movie. First of all, I kinda liked the sprites you were using for Tails and Knuckles. All the areas in this movie looked pretty good as well, so the movie had nice graphics. Second, the sounds in this were also pretty good, maybe you could do anything with voice-acting. It's not really that important, but it might make the movie a little bit better. Third, I think the part with rupee-clock was hilarous =), I also liked the rest of the humor in this so I gave you a pretty high score for that. Fourth, it was pretty cool that I could choose which part I wanted to watch first, although maybe you should switch the Zelda music for Metroid music after you watched the Metroid movie. Again, it's not really that important, just a little extra thing.

Well I couldn't discover any bad parts in this movie actually. Maybe it would be better if you actually draw the figures, but I don't really hate sprites and I think these sprites looked pretty nice. I think the only way to improve this movie is by adding unnecessary extra stuff, like one of those things that looks like a timeline (FF Day Care has one) and some bonus scenes.

Anyway overall I'd give this movie 8 out of 10, 4 out of 5. I think you did a great job here and this movie is an example for all the other sprite movies on NG in my opinion. I kinda like this series and I'll surely keep an eye out for the third part if you were going to make one. Keep up the good work and good luck with the rest of the series then.

[Final Fantasy Day Care 4]

Another daily first, congrats =)

Again managed to get a daily future. You only submitted four movies and all of them got a daily first, quite impressive if you ask me. Weird that only one of them won a weekly award. Well I hope for you this submission will get one.

I loved this part as well as the others. I like the humor in these series, that's what these series is all about I guess. The drawings were also pretty good once again, I like your drawingstyle so I gave you points for both style and graphics. The sounds and the music were also as good as they were in the last episodes, the voice-acting is also well done.

The only bad part of this was that the movie ran a bit slow sometimes. I dunno if that has anything to do with my computer or something, but it's pretty annoying actually. If my computer is not the reason, than I hope you'll fix this. Maybe you should add a quality button to solve this problem (I dunno if this already had one, but I couldn't find any).

Anyway overall I'd give this movie 8 out of 10, 4 out of 5. I really enjoy watching this series and I hope part 5 will come out soon, although I already saw that it'll be quite a while before episode 5 is submitted. Well congratulations with another daily first award and hopefully you'll get a weekly award, we'll see tomorrow. Keep up the excellent work and good luck with making part 5.

[Final Fantasy QFF 2]

Not that much improvement

I've seen you made the title at the top of the screen a bit smaller, that's good, it doesn't really bother me now. I've also seen that you putted the subtitles at the bottom of the screen, I think it's a lot better this way. Although I thought you used different colors of the text for different characters, I think that's better then writing figher, black mage etc. before every sentence.

I've also seen that you still haven't added more areas and you still didn't made it longer, this one seemed even shorter actually. I think these were actually the most important downsides of the last part. I really hope you'll improve this in part 3 then. The fights could also be a bit longer by the way, by stopping with the one-hit-KO's for example.

It also still had all the good parts of the last episode. Still great music and some good sounds. The sprites were also as good as they were in part 1. Although I think you should add another character in this story, this only has 4 different sprites, maybe something like soldiers or knights (if you can find the sprites for them).

Overall I'd still give this movie 6 out of 10, 3 out of 5. I'm kinda suprised that this episodes score is a lot higher then part 1's score, cause this one isn't that much better. Anyway, good luck with the rest of the series, I'll keep an eye out for the next episode, keep it up.

[Zelda's PRIDE force]

Awesome movie

Say, this was a cool movie. I really loved this. I'm a fan of Zelda games so that made me give you some extra points =) Well I think this submission deserved the daily future, I think it would maybe deserve a daily third or second or first as well, kinda depends on what will be submitted the next two days. Until now, one of the best things I've seen this week.

Anyway, I haven't really discovered a bad thing in this movie. Could use a quality button maybe, but then again that wasn't really that necessary cause the movie ran fine. You could add a scene selection button as well, but again, it's not really necessary.

This movie had a lot of good parts. The graphics were simply awesome, they probably couldn't get any better. The music and the sounds were also pretty good in this. The voice-acting was not bad at all, pretty good actually. I also liked the humor in it, I was pretty suprised when Zelda admitted she was lesbian, lol =)

Overall I'd give this movie 9 out of 10, 5 out of 5 of you ask me. I think you did a great job here, I loved this. Like I said, it fully deserved the daily first award, congrats with it. I hope to see more from you soon, good luck with any future projects.

[Final Fantasy QFF]

Shows some potential

Meh, shows some potential if you ask me. I kinda liked this although I can't say that it's an a great movie or anything like that. I dunno why the score is so low actually (1.80), I think it deserves higher, but that's my opinion.

Like I said, this was not something that I would call a great movie. There were a couple of things about this I didn't liked. First of all, the title at the top of the screen. I think it would be better if you removed this, cause it's actually a bit annoying. Second, I think you should put the subtitles at the bottom of the screen (in that black area). Third, I think you should make the episodes a bit longer. I guess you are going to make a series out of this (it said:
to be continued", I guess more will come soon), so make all the episodes a bit longer so they'll be a bit more interesting. Fourth, I think you should add some more areas. This submission only had 2 different areas (inside some castle and on some bridge).

There were also some parts in this movie that I liked. The thing I liked most about this were the sprites. I dunno were you got them, but I think they looked great. I've never seen these kind of sprites before actually, well points for both style and graphics. I also liked the music in this, I'm not sure if it was from some kind of FF game, but it sure sounded like FF music. The sounds were also kinda okay, could use some more maybe, but they were not that bad.

So overall I'd give this submission 6 out of 10, 3 out of 5. I'm glad that this looks different then most of the FF sprite movies around here. Like I already said it shows some potential. I'm pretty interested in part two of this series, I hope it'll be submitted soon. I'll keep an eye out for it, to see if you improved a bit. Anyway's good luck with the rest of the series and keep it up.
