Yeah it was.
It´s just some stupid drawing that I once made in flash for practice. On clockday I decided to submit it to see what people thought about it. Also, I had only 2 movies in the portal, so for the sake of having a more accurate batting average I wanted to have 3 and that flashfile was the only thing that I had left.
The only animation in it is the sun brightening up and fading again, but it´s hard to see.
I'd be level 11.

The day after the redesign, July 17th, I was going to turn level 11. I only gained a single level since then D:. I would be around 13 days until my new level, more because of Pimp.

They redesigned it because of crybabies. Old system wasn't that bad.
Once you were used to it wasn´t that bad. You simply stopped caring about leveling up and suddenly realized after a few months that you were only a few days away from leveling up.
It sucked however if you had to stare at a crappy level icon for over a year =/
