I've seen better stick movies

Meh, ain't a very good movie if you ask me. I'm not really a huge fan of stick-movies and I think most of the other NG users don't like them either. However, there are a couple of good stick movies, maybe you should check them out to get some ideas.

Lot of bad things in this movie. First of all, It's really in need of some better graphics, a lot of things simply looked very bad. Also I think it would be better if you learned how to draw real people instead of stickman. Just keep on practicing with it. Second, it also needs some better sounds and the backgroundmusic could be a little bit louder, cause I didn't even heard it when I watched it at first and I'm sure my speakers where on (at a decent volume). Third, there are already loads of these kind of movies on NG these days. You should come up with a more original idea. Just try to think of something so that this will be a bit more special.

Anyway, overall I'd give this movie 4 out of 10. Well I guess there is at least some effort putten into this, that's why I gave you some extra points. I don't think I'm interested in part two of this, but I'll keep an eye out for it anyway to see if you improved a bit. Practice some more and hopefully you'll submit something better then this someday.

[Empty white world]

Indeed kinda okay

Yeah, I would indeed call this movie okay. It's a kinda long movie, normally I'd think this is boring, but for some reason this movie didn't really bored me at all. It's deffinatly not the best thing I've seen here on NG, but it was surely not bad for one of your first submissions.

Well the worst thing about this movie were probably the graphics. Maybe they could use a little bit more color, but then again, maybe the black and white suits the movie better. The drawings themselves could use a little improvement here and there. At least there were no stickfigures in this, that's a good thing. The graphics were about the only bad part of this movie I could find, well done.

The good parts of this were first of all, the music. It suited the movie well, it really gave me some kind of sad feeling. Maybe you could add some sounds at some places, but it's okay if you leave it this way. For some reason I also liked the whole idea behind this movie. I dunno why exactly, but I just liked it. Probably has something to do with that kinda sad feeling. I'm glad that it's not some violent, pointless movie.

Well overall I'd give this movie 6 out of 10, 3 out of 5. Like I already said, this was not bad for one of your first submissions and 2.27 ain't a bad score you know. I wish you good luck with making your second submission, if you were going to make a second though.

The graphics could have been better, yes. But i don't think it need more colors. Well maybe different shades of gray, and dark tepid colors would be ok.

Awesome movie

I must say, this is one awesome movie. You don't see stuff like this everyday. I think all the authors did a great job, I can't really say that there were authors that were worst than the rest. Surely some had a different style and I liked some styles more than others, but still I think everybody have done pretty well here.

I also liked the Oasis music in this (lol at the guy who had Oasis sucks in his shirt =) ), well that's mainly what this movie is all about so I'll vote pretty high probably. I also liked the idea of this flash, to bring so many authors together to make this. That rarely happens these days. Some idea popped into my mind yesterday, an idea of a flash I would like to make someday and when I first saw this on the frontpage, I was like "Oh no, could it be..?", but luckily it was not the idea I had yesterday =)

Anyway, the only thing that this movie could use is a background, the white at the back is kinda boring. Could be a bit too hard to make that though.

So overall I'd give this submission 8 out of 10, 4 out of 5. I think all the authors did a great job here. I think this movie deserved a daily first and it'll probably get a weekly third or second or maybe even first place, who knows. If I check the review score, it might get a review crew pick as well. It would deserve all those awards in my opinion. Anyway I would like to wish all the authors good luck with their next projects and keep up the excellent work.

Not bad for your first try

Har har, well this was pretty funny actually, I especially liked the part with the rofflecopter =) I think you've done quite well for one of your first movies.

But I must say the movie might be a bit too long. I guess you can't make the song any shorter so I think you should use some more variety with the scenes or add some more, cause the movie was a bit boring after a while. Also the sprites didn't really looked that well, I think you should make them a bit smaller so that they'll look a bit better. About the music, I ain't really a big fan of System of a Down so I didn't really liked the music, but that's just a matter of taste.

Overall I'd give this movie 6 out of 10, 3 out of 5. Like I already said, you did quite well for one of your first movies. 2.35 ain't a bad score. One last thing, I think it would have been better if you didn't make a music video, cause if people don't like the song, they'll automaticly vote low on it. Anyways I hope your next movie will be something awesome and I hope you'll learn how to draw well someday =) Good luck with any future projects.

The ROFLcopter is one of the most liked part of my flash, which is good. :)

I wouldn't say that my flash was a bit too long since I think it was a bit too short, but then, I guess the boringness of the backgrounds probably made the flash look long. :S

I would make the sprites smaller, but then it gets quite hard to lip sync, but I guess I shouldn't be too bitchy about the difficulty of that. Also, I know not everyone will be a fan of SOAD.

I will say that 2.35 isn't a bad score, although I did see the score at over 3.00 when it was under judgment. :( Oh well.

And music videos, well, it kinda depends. I know I could get less of a score, but there will be people I don't need to listen to.

I'm pprobably going to make another music video (sorry to say that) since it'll give me more practice for my main project and there will be people that will be happy. I know it'll annoy some people more, but no matter what flash I make, I will always get a good side, a bad side and probably a side that's in the middle.

Anyway, thanks for the long review Auz. I really appreciate it. :D

You have to do better than this

Well this wasn't really what I would call good. I ain't really that interested in the second part actually. There were a lot of bad things about this movie.

First of all, I think there are some better Zelda sprites than the current ones. If you don't know where to find them, you just have to ask around in the BBS (Wi/Ht? Forum). Second, I think as for the rest of the graphics, they could use a little improvement here and there as well. Third, the movie was kinda short and a scene-selection was nice but unnecessary. If you really wanna make a good series, you should at least make the episodes a bit longer. Fourth, I think you should add some more sounds as well, like sword sounds and that yelling Link always does when he uses his sword. Again, if you don't know where to find them, ask around the BBS.

So overall, I'd give this movie 3 out of 10, 1 out of 5. If you wanna make a good, interesting series, you have to do better than this. I think I'll keep an eye out for "Master of Hyrule 2" to see if you improved a bit. Well anyway, I wish you good luck with making the rest of the episodes. Hopefully they'll be better than this.

[Bunnykill 3 Vol.1]

Awesome

Wow this was a pretty awesome movie. Looks a lot like madness, but with better graphics I'd say. Well I think this movie fully deserved all those important awards. Let me guess, in the next volume, Snowball is gonna be saved by that other bunny that saved him before, right?

Anyway, this movie had a lot of good things. The graphics for example were very good, they could be a tiny bit bitter maybe, but they were deffinatly awesome. The sounds and the backgroundmusic was also pretty good, the music really fitted and all the other sounds were good as well. I also kinda liked the killed bunnies counter, I remember that the other Bunnykill movies didn't had that, it was a pretty nice extra thing.

Well this movie barely had any bad things, the only thing I can think of is that the movie ran a bit slow sometimes, even at low quality. Ow wait and another thing, sometimes it was a bit hard to see were snowball actually was and what he exactly did. Maybe you should make scenes with not more than 2 or 3 bunnies so that people have a better view of what's going on.

Anyway, overall I'd give this movie 8 out of 10, 4 out of 5. I think you did a great job here, part 3 (vol. 1)deffinatly didn't disappointed me. I wish you good luck with making part 3 volume 2.

Simple, but entertaining

Wow, this is something you don't see every day here on Newgrounds. I liked this very original idea, yet it is so simple and yet it's a pretty entertaining movie. I loved this.

Well the good things about this were, like I already said, the very original idea. Also the graphics were pretty good in my opinion, pretty simple, I liked the bright colors in this. The music was another good part in this movie, it was also very simple, very relaxing and it suited this well. Another good thing about this was the filesize, my computer ain't that fast so I'm happy with that. I dunno how you could keep it so low by the way, I mean some music usually takes a lot of Kb right?

Well there weren't many bad things about this movie actually. I only didn't saw the connection between a toothbrush and a space station but who cares anyway.

Overall I'd give this movie 8 out of 10, 4 out of 5. I enjoyed watching this. I hope you'll submit some more stuff like this soon. Anyway keep up the good work and good luck with any future flash projects.

Didn't really enjoyed watching this

Well this wasn't really that interesting, actually a bit boring. Though I didn't really enjoyed watching this, I think that it deserves the score it has now for some weird reason. There is at least some effort putten into this I think.

Here are some things that could use a little improvement. First, the movie was kinda long and there wasn't really that much happening except that he was writing some kind of letter and stabbed himself after he finished. You should either make the movie shorter or you should make some more things happen, I think the last one would be the best choice. Maybe you should add a scene were you can see why the figure wants to kill himself. Second, I think it could use some better graphics. I could see that you added some lines here and there to make it look more detailed, but I think it would be better if you did something with.. ur what was that called... contrast? (Well you know, make the colors a bit lighter and darker at some places). It would also be better if you changed the background for something like a pretty dark room, where you can still see a bed, a closet etc. I think grey would be a good color to make those things with. Third, the music was really like something terrible was going to happen like a meteorite was gonna crash on earth or something. It's okay if the music is a bit dramatic or emotionel, but this was a little bit overacted in my opinion.

So overall I'd give this movie 5 out of 10, 2 out of 5. Could be better, but I think it could be worse as well. Keep it up and good luck with your next submission.

[Mythology]

Awesome Movie

Wow this movie was awesome, I really enjoyed watching this submission. I always imagined Zeus would be a lot bigger, that's how I always saw him in pictures and stuff. He probably looked that way in Age of Mythologie.

Anyway, I think it's really too bad that the movie ended when they were just about to battle. I'm pretty curious about who would win it and I think it would be a pretty cool scene seeing all those cyclops and other evil creatures fighting againts minotaurussen (or whatever they are called) and other good creatures. The screensize was also a bit small, I think it would have been better if you made it somewhat bigger. Like you already said, there were no sounds in this movie, but the music was pretty good, I liked it.

The other good things about this movie were of course the graphics, they were just awesome. They can barely get any better. I also liked the drawing style so I gave you some extra points for that. As I just said, the music was very good as well. I dunno what you meant with not very original, it doesn't have to be original, as long as it fits and this music deffinatly did.

So overall I'd give this movie 8 out of 10 (4/5), I think you did a great job here. Only too bad that there was no huge fight at the end, I hope you'll make a second part one day, but that probably isn't gonna happen. Anyway I just added you to my favorite authors like I said I would probably do in some other review. Keep up the excellent work and good luck with your Valhalla Knights series (that was gonna be a series right? =))

[Screw B]

Pretty good for a clock move

Say, this was a pretty nice movie for a clock movie and one of your first movies. Usually I don't like clock movies, but this one was pretty cool.

The things I liked about this were first of all, the sounds and the music. The best thing about this movie for sure, awesome music and some great sounds. Second, the graphics were also pretty nice, there could be a little improvement at the background maybe, but they were all pretty nice. Third, I liked the matrix style in this movie so I gave you some extra points for the style.

Well the bad things about this were that the movie didn't really had a beginning and it could use a better end. Especially the end, you should add some kind of big boss or something, unless you were planning to make a second part, but I doubt that. It would also be more fun if the KILO things were actual people, no stickman, but just some well drawn figures I prefer.

Well overall 7 out of 10, a pretty good movie for a clock movie like I already said. I think I'll vote 3 of maybe 4. Anyway, I think you are pretty talented at flash if this was one of your first flashes. Practice a little more and I'm sure you'll submit a pretty good submission someday.
