[FF Battle]

Very good movie

Well I haven't played FF6 or FF10 before, but because there is no plot, you don't have to play those two games to understand this. It would be nice if you added a plot, sorry but I had to point that out. The movie also ran a bit slow sometimes, I hope you'll find a way to speed it up a little. Those were the only bad things about this movie actually, I couldn't discover anything else.

There were many good things about this movie like the music and the sounds, the best things about this submission in my opinion. The graphics were also very good, I kinda liked the drawing style, so I gave you points for both style and graphics. The violence was very good, some blood but not too much, that would ruin the movie so I think you did well. I also liked the little things the characters said while fighting like WTF? etc. so I gave you some points for humor.

Overall I'd give this 8 out of 10, I think this movie is worth a daily first award, congrats with it. I dunno if you'll win the weekly first award as well, but I think you'll at least get a weekly fifth. Anyway I really liked this movie, I think you did a great job. I hope to see more stuff from you soon, keep up the good work and good luck with any future projects.

[FFI: Dawn of Idiots]

You need some more practice

It wasn't really what I would call "crap", but it wasn't really a good movie either. It was somewhere in between, a bit more on the crappy side maybe. Well at least it has some effort putten into it, better than all those crappy movies with no effort at all. Anyway, like I said the movies were not that good.

First, they were very short. Even watching the whole movie takes less than a minute. You should make them a bit longer and with a better storyline. You could start with the beginning, give a reason why Fighter killed himself for example. Second, the extra's were not that special. I mean it were just some sprites that I could watch, nothing really interesting. Well it were just extra's I guess,
say why don't you make a second movie with those sprites? I really like Final Fantasy VIII. Third, ur... were was the bonus material? Was that the last scene or what? I couldn't discover any bonus. Fourth, the graphics could use a little improvement here and there. Fifth, you should make a different text-style (I hope you know what I mean), sometimes it was a bit hard to read and in the second part, the text went a bit too fast.

Well the best thing about this movie was the music in my opinion, very good that you added that. Most movies without backgroundmusic are boring.

Anyway, overall I'd give this 5 out of 10. It wasn't bad for one of your first submissions, practice a little bit more and you might make a pretty good movie in the future. Good luck with any flashes you were going to make.

Very good, game could use some extra work

Well I'd say this was a very good submission. I saw that it was one of your first and I think you did a great job. Congrats with the daily fifth award by the way, I think this deserved it.

Well the movie was very good, had a lot of good things. One of the best things in my opinion was the backgroundmusic. I really liked the Zelda music at the background. There weren't many sounds in the movie, but that's okay. I also liked the sprites, I expected them to be worse.

The bad things about the movie were that the text at the beginning went a bit too fast sometimes so that I missed a lot of the story. Was the part with Talon the end by the way? It was a bit weird, I waited a couple of minutes but nothing happened so I guess it was the end of the movie.

Well about the game, looked really good again. I had quite a lot of trouble with when I spoke to someone, I was supposed to press A, but when I did that, he said everything again and again and again. This became quite annoying after a while. The text bar also didn't went away on the mainscreen after the talking so I couldn't see very much. So the game was pretty good, but you need to fix some things and I hope you will.

Well as for the rest, the main menu could use some more color maybe, but I think it's nice the way it is. I don't think your English was that bad, I couldn't discover any big spelling mistakes. Some little ones, but they didn't bothered me at all.

Overall I'd give this 8 out of 10, I think you did a great job. Good luck with any other submissions you're going to make in the future.

[Valhalla Knights]

Awesome movie

Wow, this was a great movie. Are you really gonna make a series out of this? I deffinatly don't want to miss the next episodes. It really has all the great things a good movie has. Very good graphics, everything was nicely drawn. The drawing style was also great, I really liked it. It had good sounds, good backgroundmusic and the voice-acting was pretty good as well. I hope this series will tell a good story, but I'm pretty sure it will.

Mwah, the only bad things about this were the huge filesize. I don't have a fast computer so it takes quite a while before it loaded this submission. At the beginning the movie was also a bit shocky, but that could also be because of my pretty slow computer. These were just two little things. They didn't really bothered me at all, but I guess it has to be said =)

Anyway, I think this deserved all the (positive) awards NG has. Congratulations with them. I'm thinking of adding you to my favorite artists since I also loved: "The Real Legend" and "The Real Legend of Zelda 2". I better check out some more stuff of you.
Overall I'd give this movie 9 out of 10. Sorry, but I don't think this is worth a 10, I only gave a ten once in my whole "NG History" anyway. I'll keep an eye out for the next couple of episodes, I hope they'll get even better than this. Keep up the excellent work.

[KH: Cloud vs Sephiroth]

Good graphics, but runs very slow

Well this was pretty good for one of your first submissions. It's a good thing that it's not one of them Final Fantasy sprite movies again, cause I've already seen a whole lot of those. The graphics and the drawing style were very good, the best thing about this movie for sure. The sounds were okay, it could use some more sounds like wind sounds maybe, but it's not that important. The voice-acting was not that good, but that not that bad either. I think you should keep that the way it is.

The main bad thing about this movie was that it ran incredibly slow. It could be my computer though, but I don't think that's the reason. I think it's really necessary that it runs a bit faster, especially if you were planning to make them fight in the second episode. It's a bit annoying to watch a fight when everything goes incredibly slow. Another bad thing was, as you already said, that barely anything happens in this part. It was a bit boring actually, even for an intro. I hope the next episodes will be a bit more spectacular and a bit longer as well.

Well overall I would give it 7 out of 10, I'll vote 3 for now. Final Fantasy is one of my favorite game series so I'm pretty interested in the next couple episodes, I'll keep an eye out for them, good luck with making them.

No more numa numa please

Well I liked the graphics and the drawing style, but I think I've seen enough numa numa for the rest of my life. This stuff is really getting old and I never even hear that song anymore except on Newgrounds. So next time I hope you'll come up with a more original idea.

I checked the author comments and saw this was your first big flash project. Well if this was your first, I can tell you that you really have some talent. Everything looked pretty good and everything worked as it should work, except that the graphics were a bit shocky sometimes but that didn't really bothered me at all.

Anyway overall I'll give this 6 out of 10, I would gave it higher if the idea was more original. Good luck with your next big project.

I kinda liked this...

I kinda liked this movie. It deffinatly had some good graphics and I liked the drawing style. The backgroundmusic was okay, a bit annoying maybe, but it was allright. One bad thing about this was that the graphics, even though they were nicely drawn, were a bit shocky sometimes, know what I mean? This is also a bit annoying, I hope you'll fix that. The storyline was allright, I prefer serious movies, but that's just me. The joke at the end putted a little smile in my face so for humor I give you a 6. Overall I would say that it was a pretty good movie, I think it deserves a higher score than the score it has right now(2.77). I'll give you 7 out of 10 so I think I'll vote 3 or maybe 4. Anyway good luck with any games or other movies you were going to make in the future.

[FF Oblivion Chapter 2]

Getting a little bit better

Well I have seen the first part and this was a little bit better surely. The text blocks are still a bit too dark, I thought you were going to make them lightblue, why didn't you do that? I don't say it's completely unreadable, but it is hard to read sometimes. I also think that the Cloud sprite didn't really fitted. Everything is about the same type of sprite except Cloud. I think you need to find one that looks better with all the other sprites and the background. The other new character (Squall) did look good with the rest, I hope he'll play a big role in this series cause he's my favorite FF character =) Anyway, as for the rest of your movie, the backgroundmusic was nice again, but there are still not that much sounds for when they use magic. Not that there were that many fights in this part, but I still didn't hear very much when they used magic attacks. I hope you'll find those sounds pretty soon, maybe you should ask around the BBS where you can find some. Well I'm glad that I finally know a bit about the storyline. Overall I'd say this was a bit better than the first episode, but not that much. I think I'll vote a 3 for this. I'll keep an eye out for the rest of the series. Good luck with creating the next couple of episodes.

Good for your first try

Well it was pretty good for your first submission. Many people do a lot worse. It had some good things and it had some bad things. The good things were the graphics, they were pretty well drawn in my opinion. And the backgroundmusic, good thing that you added that, makes the movie a lot less boring. The bad things were that the movie ran a bit slow and shocky sometimes, know what I mean. Please fix that little thing. Also I thought the backgroundmusic suddenly stopped somewhere halfway, please add something so that the music will repeat after the song is finished. And the last thing, I hope your next movie has a bit more serious storyline, but that's just me, others may like it the way it is now. Well anyway, this was not bad for your first try. I voted 3 for this, good luck with any movies your going to make in the future.

[Final Fantasy Oblivion]

Aw another one

Aw, another Final Fantasy Sprite movie, I've seen hundreds of those. Although this is only the first episode, I really don't get what the story was about (just like in all the other FF sprite movies =S). To me it were just a couple of short movies sticked together. I hope the second episode makes things a bit more clear. Well about the movie itself, it had some good things and some bad things. Some good things were that you added backgroundmusic which is really important, the fights were better than the average FF sprite movie in my opinion and I think it's good that you can click on the text so that you don't have to read very quickly. The bad things about it were the color of the text and the backgroundcolor of the textboxes, it was very hard to read sometimes. Lightblue and black are indeed better choices I'm sure. The movie could also use more sounds. At the beginning it barely had any sounds, later I heard some more sword sounds. That was good, but there were no sounds when the characters used magic. Please add some sounds for this. Overall, I would say that it was pretty good for your first submission (this was your first submission right?). Keep it up and good luck with this series and all that.

Yes it was my first submission (ofcourse I've made some other flash movies for practise, but this is the first one I've ever submitted. My first ones that I've made are really crappy=)). I've found it really hard to find any GOOD magic soundeffects. Since I can't make them myself, I'll continue to search for them.
