As I said in the Nintendo Club, I like your cartoons and I hope you'll submit more of them.

This isn't the best one I've encountered, but it gave me a chuckle nonetheless. What I like is how you still add so much detail to the drawings, even though they're only made for silly little jokes. Most cartoons I've seen of this sort have half-assed drawings, but you actually take the time to add shades, colours, little effects and other details. Plus points on that.

What I'm wondering is how you can manage to think of so many puns with video game characters. You got over 40 on your website already and it's not even like they're getting more farfetched or anything. You do a good job at keeping the quality consistent.

As I've also said, I think it's a nice idea if you started animating these. I think it will work if you can get some good voice-actors for it.

4.5/5

Keep up the excellent work.

Thank you :] yeah I'm thinking about animating them :)

It looks really good to me. I like the "waterfall" tears, I like the perspective and I like the details on the mouth, nose, eyes and ears.

It seems a bit like an unfinished, unpolished piece of work to me though. I can still see a lot of (help?) lines and marks that seem to have been whiped with an eraser. Obviously I'm missing the hair, a part of the neckline and a cheek. Of course it could be that you never intended to draw all those things, but I think it would've been really nice if you had worked on those things as well before you submitted it.

In any case, it's a very nice drawing. Way better than I could ever do. I'm sure the end result (if this isn't a finished work) would've been amazing.

Overall 4.5 out of 5. Keep up the excellent work.

hahaha thanks man. It's a little difficult for me to categorize this drawing. It is a sketch thats for sure, but I kind of dig the unfinished look to art; it's like the viewer is seeing the process, the strokes and the lines that the artist used in creating the piece. Like seeing the framework of an animation; the steps the artist took. Like leaving spaces blank and open for interpretation hahaha idk. I'm really OCD about drawing, so I often don't finish them at all haha. I am also very messy and I smudge and erase and I just leave it there. I'd like to say it adds to the overall visual effect but thats bullshit haha i'm just messy.

This is a nice one. Probably my favourite out of all the ones I've seen from you so far (admittedly I haven't seen that much of your work though).

I kinda like the artwork. I can see you do put a decent amount of effort into drawing the characters and the backgrounds. I think you especially do a nice job giving the guinea pigs some facial expressions without making them look more humanoid, although in this particular submission you don't see it as clearly. In any case, if you make as many as you do I can imagine you'd eventually get a little lazy with the drawings, but clearly you don't and I like that.

Overall 4 out of 5. Keep bringing them in. I'm sure plenty of people enjoy them.

This takes me back. I remember that Gex, Enter the Gecko was quite popular when I was a kid, although the game didn't seem all that great to me. Still fun though, I should perhaps look it up again sometime.

Anyway, this looks like a pretty good drawing to me. Nothing all too special, but very decent. I think you could've done a little bit more with the background though. I'm sure there's a lot of stuff in the game that could've been inspiring, but it seems like you put all your effort in the foreground and quickly wrapped up the background to finish the drawing.

Overall 3.5 out of 5. It's pretty good, but definitely not your best work.

So you speed painted this? I can see some parts of the painting look a little bit rushed, but you still added enough detail to make it seem like a finished work. Especially the foreground seems to have gotten plenty of attention.

I actually like the somewhat blurry background though. The lighting there is very nice and makes it look a bit like you're wandering through a very dark forest and suddenly see some sunlight coming through the trees. I also like the mushrooms on the foreground very much.

Overall 5 out of 5. Keep up the excellent work.

That's a cute little drawing in my opinion. It seems very suitable for a Paper Mario type of Zelda game. I don't know if that was what you were aiming for, but if so you did a good job.

It could be my browser or computer, but the animation seems a little choppy. Maybe you could upgrade the FPS a little bit to make the animation a bit smoother. Again, it could be a problem on my end so perhaps you should test it again (or wait for more reviews).

Anyway, overall 4 out of 5. Nice job. Keep up the good work.

You need to fix something I can say that much ^^
becaus I only make very smooth animations that is wiggling.
But thank you for the review :3

Your drawing does capture this scene of the book very well in my opinion. I really love your use of colour and the art style. Your art style seems a bit unlike your other artwork by the way. Did you alter your style a bit or is this really your natural drawing style? What it sort of reminds me of is TV series like Rugrats, which could be intentional.

Anyway, what I really like is the pictures on the wall describing certain other scenes of the book. I also like the little effects of the reflections on the floor, the smoke and the light coming into the room. I can imagine it's difficult to get such things right.

Overall 5 out of 5. Very nice work here. Keep it up.

This is a very nice piece of artwork in my opinion. I suppose it's trying to tell a story. I can make attempts to guess what every part of the picture means and represents, but I think I better not. I find it a bit hard to make out what is what on the left side of the picture anyway.

In any case, I thinkt the art is very nicely drawn. I like the style and use of colour. It seems to give the picture a somewhat classical feel. It looks very European too, mostly inspired by Eastern Europe. A bear on a unicycle wouldn't have looked out of place on this image.

Overall 5 out of 5. Nice job. Keep up the excellent work.

Well done.

It's a pretty cute drawing in my opinion. It has a nice and relaxing use of colors. You're right in that the white cat doesn't stand out very much. I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing though. Perhaps it makes the drawing more peaceful and subtle this way.

Overall 9 out of 10, 5 out of 5. Nice work :)

Puny responds:

Thanks alot, I was actually going for that peaceful feel. Glad someone feels the same ;)

Beautiful

This is a very beatiful picture. The most interesting piece of artwork I found in the art portal so far.

This Alien creature you portrayed seems almost like some sort of god that overlooks every little planet in the universe. I´m curious though what the meaning is of the blueish color on the top left corner and the redish color on the bottom right corner. I also see this contrast in the little spheres around the alien. Is there any idea behind that?

Overall 10 out of 10, 5 out of 5. Like I said, this is the most interesting piece of artwork I´ve found here so far and I´ve added this as favourite submission. I would love to see some more of your work.
