Happy belated birthday Casualty!

Casualty looks sort of odd in the Bahamut universe. But I suppose it's only logical that he turns out different than the rest if you drew him over from a real picture. I think you made him look quite nice though, he looks better than your other character models in my opinion. Perhaps you should've considered doing the same for all your other characters, although the sudden change might be a bit weird and they could be harder to animate.

Anyway this happy birthday flash isn't much special, but I wasn't expecting anything great from it. Technically it was well made and as usual the voice-acting was done pretty well.

Overall 7 out of 10, 3 out of 5.

Nice

Indeed this movie seemed quite irrelevant for Afro's birthday at first. First some scenes about Afro's album and then all of a sudden Bahamut goes "Happy birthday to you". You put a nice reference there to that earlier flash of yours, but like Haggard I was disappointed that there was no real bomb in there. Even more disappointed that you didn't show us what you got Afro for his birthday. It would've left room for another good joke.

Anyway, I liked how there were so many small and hidden jokes in this one. I thought Afro's album simply being called "The Album" was kinda funny. Also the FUCK YOU Bahamut was constantly shouting at Afro when he was singing Wannabe was nice. And so was the reference to the idiots on the moon episode when Graham was flying towards the moon on the background.

Overall 7 out of 10, 3 out of 5.

After several bomb incidents in previous flashes, this is to be expected sooner or later.

Confusing at first

This was a confusing movie at first. I had no idea who that guy was who threw the remote to the moon. I thought he was supposed to be another one of your friends, maybe Pokelord-Ex, but I was sure he was never in your later movies which would've been odd. Also, I was under the impression that it was you who was on the moon with Graham (like I said in a former review). I thought I heard Bahamut's voice at the end of Graham's final episode, but turns out that it was Afro. No idea how he got on the moon though, I guess I must've missed something somewhere.

Anyway, it's good that you explained most of the things at the end of the movie. Now I finally know how that hole to another dimension got into Graham's house. Where Bahamut got such a hole is still a mystery to me though, but I guess I shouldn't question it all that much. It wasn't supposed to make much sense in the first place.

I also liked how this movie referred back to some of your earlier flashes and gave the real conclusion to the Graham's Weird Day series along with the ending of the censor remote.

Overall 8 out of 10, 4 out of 5. A very nice movie.

kinggila responds:

No, that was meant to be Afro's voice at the end. Also, the people who threw the remote to the moon was the angriest gamer you've ever heard, the Angry Video Game Nerd.

Alright

This stuff happens to me all the time as well. I tend to forget people's birthdays often, and even worse: people's names. It's quite embarrassing if you just met a person, but can't recall his/her name anymore five minutes later... Oh well, at least I'm good at remembering faces.

Anyway, this movie wasn't that special in my opinion. I guess it was just a sorry to Anderson and Blue Hippo so it wasn't supposed to be special. I must say that I liked the little effect when the devil send Bahamut to hell, with Bahamut roaring and all. But that's about all I can say about this flash.

Overall 6 out of 10, 3 out of 5.

I forget names as well as faces and it really annoys me.

Interesting

Like you said in a former response, there is indeed not much explained in this entire series. We still do not really know why there is a big hole in Graham's house that seems to lead to another dimension. What that other dimension exactly was is not explained either. And I don't know what Bahamut is doing on the moon. I can't remember that ever happening in one of your former flashes, I guess it might be explained later.

Anyway, I suppose this series was just silly randomness after all. It doesn't even give answers to questions that were posed in the first episode. But I see this series' ending immediately starts a new series. That is an interesting idea that I haven't seen that often before. Usually there is a series finale and then sometimes a (crappy) sequel series, but this finale just seemed like a middle episode. I'm quite interested in how this story continues.

Overall 5 out of 10, 2 out of 5. Not such a great episode or a good finale, but it had an interesting idea behind it.

Amazing

An amazing piece of work as always. I really liked this episode of the brackenwood series. I know I stated in my waterlollies review that I would've loved to see some more character development and such and I think you went the right way with this one. You also introduced some interesting new characters that are gonna play a big role in the series I guess. I'm especially interested in the meaning of bitey's dream, but that magician girl at the end seemed very mysterious as well. I wonder how she is gonna solve bitey's problem.

For the rest I think the narrating was well done. She had a pleasant voice and reminded me a bit of the LOTR narrator of the first movie.

Overall 10 out of 10, 5 out of 5. Went straight to my favorites. I can't wait to see the next episode, keep up the awesome work.

Oh by the way, I don't why but for whatever reason I was unable to watch this flash in Opera 10. I got a huge watermark all across the screen stating that I should watch this on bitey.com. It worked fine when I tried Firefox though. You might wanna take a look at that, before you get a ton of complaints from people who aren't able to view this.

You probably would've had me

I think you might have had me back then with this one. I didn't realise this would be an Aprils fools joke flash at first until I saw the date of submitting. I was already halfway with watching this when I saw that and was already wondering if you really did have plans to quit at some point. But you also admitted it in the end. It might have been nice if you pretended that you were gonna quit and would admit the joke the day after instead of right away.

Anyway like Haggard, Afro_Stud singing "Barbie Girl" is something that I would not want to hear anymore either :p Not only because Afro is not such a fantastic singer, but also because those kind of songs always get stuck in my head.

I personally found the funniest scene in this movie the scene were the crowd went: Oooh :o and then Afro was disappointed because he wanted you to quit forever :p Although I think Afro sounded a little too happy when he said it which made it sound like he was only joking. It might have turned out funnier if he sounded more serious and really disappointed.

Overall 7 out of 10, 3 out of 5. A decent Aprils fools tribute.

kinggila responds:

Don't worry, I don't want to hear myself singing that song ever again.

Alright

This one was alright. It was interesting how everyone switched voices. For some reason I found Bahamut's new voice quite fitting and the same goes for your voice with Mario.

Like Haggard said though, it was hard to hear the people talking sometimes. It seemed as if after a few scenes everybody suddenly started to talk softer and started to mumble. Except for Satan who was still loud and clear. It is good that you always add subtitles to your flashes I guess, otherwise I would have had no idea what was going on.

Anyway, there sure are a couple of weird things going on this series. Graham's house turning into a big G? Wtf? I suppose everything will be revealed in the third episode.

Overall 6 out of 10, 3 out of 5.

kinggila responds:

Actually, not much was explained. Wow, I was terrible with explaining weird things in these flashes.

Lol

I think I really like these weekly shorts :p I find them more amusing than your normal work actually.

The beginning was already quite funny. With Afro breaking into Bahamuts house using an explosive. How very subtle xD Afro wouldn't do well as a burglar I guess. I also wonder how Bahamut could not have heard that. I guess a dragon must be very hard to wake up. Then when Afro opened the door of Bahamut's room, the door knob seemed to be on the wrong side of the door. It didn't seem to be done intentionally, or was it?

After that I couldn't really hear what music Afro was uploading to Bahamut's MP3. Was it the Spice Girls again? I suppose it was if Bahamut got so angry.

Anyway, this still didn't explain why Bahamut couldn't remember Afro in the flash before. Although there was a reference, but it was still left in the dark. And this flash does suggest that there was indeed something going on between you and Afro. Is there any explanation or was it just a random joke?

Overall 8 out of 10, 4 out of 5. Like I said I really like these weekly shorts so far. Too bad you gave up on them at some point.

~Auz

kinggila responds:

It was the YMCA. Also, yeah there was a reference to the Valentine's Day flash but it wasn't explained that well. Meh.

Not what I expected

At first I thought this was gonna be a rant about how Valentine's Day sucks and how it is only there for commercial purposes. But it was nothing like that and indeed it didn't make much sense to me. How come Bahamut does not remember who Afro_Stud is? Has his memory been erased by someone while he was sleeping? And why is Afro not co-authored on this movie? Has there been a fight going on between you? I guess I might find out in one of your next flashes.

Anyway, this flash was not much special. I expected more from it. Also, I thought the scene where Bahamut tried to remember all the characters he knew lasted too long.

Overall 6 out of 10, 3 out of 5. It was a little disappointing.

~Auz

kinggila responds:

Amnesia FTW! Also, Afro_Stud isn't co-authored on every flash he's on. Just those he does voices or is relevant to his own stuff.
