[I Am One]

Pretty good

This is a pretty good movie in my opinion. The drawings were simply awesome, I especially think the scene with the sun shining on the clouds was most impressive. The animation was nice and smooth too. I also kinda liked the song.

The only criticism I could give this movie is that it I´ve seen quite a lot of movies like this. Music video´s which are or a bit random FBF-ish or have a vague plot, usually with a lot of violence and a depressing atmosphere. I´d say this movie was pretty close to that which was too bad.

Overall 8 out of 10, 4 out of 5. It was enjoyable to watch, but I just thought it wasn´t that special. I still think it was good though, keep going like this and I´m sure you´ll win a lot more awards someday.

Thanks, I kind of see what you mean, I'm more of a loop tweener though, ha, and I like to distance myself from the "violent" videos, not that I'm against it, I would use it(have used it actually) if I felt like it brought something to the animation more than just to entertain through gore, but I didn't feel it was violent though.

[Sand]

Not bad, but very short

It wasn't bad in my opinion. The drawings were decent and the sand made a pretty good background. The music was nice too.

The main bad thing about this movie is that it was very short and random. It was like only 15 seconds long and it didn't seem to have some sort of plot or anything. Just some random stuff. It doesn't really need to have good plot, but at least try to make it a bit longer. Also, the graphics were decent, but you can still improve there. Especially the wave could've looked a bit better.

Overall 5 out of 10, 2 out of 5. It was alright, looked pretty original. I would probably give it at least 2 points higher if you had made it longer.

[Bahamut's Newgrounds]

This one was alright

Like most other reviewers here, I`m also not really a big fan of the "My Newgrounds"-hype. But this one was alright in my opinion.

It´s nice that you added your famous Bahamut sprite in the background instead of using a webcam. It made this a bit different from the usual "My Newgrounds" movies, so some originality points there. I also liked that you drew everything yourself. I think your drawing skills have seriously improved a lot over the years. The sound was also of good quality in this movie, and I like your British accent :p

As for the bad parts. Well, I already know most of the stuff you told us in this movie. For me it wasn´t all that interesting. I wish you´d told us a bit more about other stuff than your NG stats and what you do here most of the time. That´s pretty much the only bad thing I think of...

Overall 7 out of 10, 3 out of 5. A nice movie. Keep up the good work.

Indeed. Back when I made my first flash, the only drawing I did was creating random squares for lipsync. Infact, I wouldn't consider that as drawing. But yes, my drawing skills have improved a lot since I started. I'm glad I have some determination to improve on drawing, although I could be a lot better than I am now.

I would have said something about myself outside of NG life, but sadly, I am still unemployed and I didn't want to make up crap that isn't true. If I did it when I had a job, I knew I would have been too late for the MY NG fad.

Nice!

Hehe, a bit weird but I liked it. It had very nice drawings and animation. There was a nice tune playing on the background and I also laughed a bit when I heard those "ooh aah" and "yah!" sounds :p

As for what to improve, I can´t think of much to be honest. It´s a very simple, funny and well made cartoon. It just doesn´t make much sense, but that´s okay. I wouldn´t change anything about it, it´s perfect the way it is.

Overall 8 out of 10, 4 out of 5. It was nice to watch. I hope to see some more of these, keep up the good work!

Not that good

I didn´t like it that much. The sprites were okay, the sounds were good and that little button you added beside the text was a good idea. But there´s so much that can still improve here. First off, I suggest that you add some mario-themed music or some other music to this. I´m sure that it would improve the score a lot. I also suggest that you make some sort of speech bubble or a text box or something. It´s a little hard to read the text when it overlaps some other dark area. Also, just try to make the story a bit longer. It´s all a little bit too simplistic, not that funny and not really that original right now. The ending didn´t made much sense either.

Overall 3 out of 10, 1 out of 5. I personally think you can do better than this, if you just try a little bit harder.

[Knuxrouge's Newgrounds]

Hmm

Hmm, this is quite an odd "my newgrounds" movie. Totally different from the other ones and I´m pretty glad about that. Some points for originality. I think the lay-out was okay too. It was pretty simple, just a black background and a white line with some characters on it, but it looked kinda cool. I also liked the font of the text and the music was alright.

There were also some things that I didn´t like too much about this movie. First off, the pause and play button were almost right in the middle of the screen. I´d say, that´s a pretty bad place to put buttons like those. Put them somewhere in a corner instead and perhaps make them smaller. Secondly, I think the movie started okay with a little talk about your stats and what clubs you´re in and stuff, but later on it got kinda boring and hard to follow. I know it was supposed to be funny, but it became such a long and pointless conversation. Seriously, try to make it shorter.

Overall 5 out of 10, 2 out of 5. It was okay, could still use a lot of improvement.

Thanks. I'm going to break this down, in my previous flash, Chaos Sonic. Everyone complained that they had to press something to pass the text, so I left that out in this one--but look, now people are complaining that the text passes too fast, so I added a pause and play button--but now, people are complaining that they have to pause and play--WHAT ELSE CAN I DO!! You have to understand, Some people are not going to like the system I use, because of their perference. I would say that your comments have been noted, but honestly, they aren't, becuase although I may use a system that appeals to you, there will be tons of others who would bitch and complain about it, so now, I'll use the system that appeals to me, because if no one else, I'll be satisfied.

Now to the other parts of your review. The buttons were put there, because that was the only place where it wouldn't interrupt the text, the size was made to make it easily accessable. You didn't find humor in it, but others did. Too bad.

[Come Clarity Collab]

Awesome collab!

Well, this sure is an awesome collab. My personal favorite parts were the ones from Temariix (loved the drawingstyle) and Osuka´s (nice little story, I liked the red-lights-scene). But of course all other scenes were great too, every single author that worked on this is very good with drawings and animation. I think the music was pretty nice and I also liked the lay-out of the menuscreen and the pre-loader.

My only complaint about this is that there wasn´t much connection between most of the scenes. Osuka´s parts seemed to have a bit of a story, but the rest was all a bit random. It sometimes made it a bit hard to follow the movie and to understand what was going on or what it was about.

Overall 9 out of 10, 5 out of 5. This is one of the best collabs I´ve ever seen on Newgrounds. It would be nice if you guys made another one like this.

[Sprite Tut:Violence&Blood]

Nice tutorial

A pretty good tutorial. It all seemed like a good explanation. Adding blood effects to sprites always looked diffecult to me, but I think I´ll be able to make some nice looking stuff if I follow this tutorial. I liked the music and it was nice that you added those examples with the play buttons.

What needs improving: On the fifth screen, the white text was overlapping the white picture on the left which made it a bit hard to read. You should put the text in the middle or something. Also, beside the pictures and text, you could put a few short animations in to explain everything even better.

Good, for a clock day movie.

Good parts:
Heh, well it´s one of the better clockday submissions I guess. Most of them didn´t have any effort put into them at all while you seemed to have tried at least little bit. The backgroundpicture was of good quality and the song was pretty cool :p

Bad parts:
Everything that happened was just random, there doesn´t seem to be a plot or anything. The animation wasn´t good either and I wasn´t able to read most of the text. Also, the backgroundpicture was flashing in the bottom left corner at the beginning of this movie, was that done on purpose? I don´t think it was.

Overall 3 out of 10, 1 out of 5. I didn´t like it too much, but it was better than most of the clock day submissions I´ve seen.

[TwistClock's Great Escape]

Interesting

Good parts:
Very interesting movie. The first song along with the grey-ish background gave it a bit of a dark and creepy atmosphere which I liked. I also think the animation was done pretty well, although it was a bit simplistic.

Bad parts:
You shouldn´t have added that second song. Not that I didn´t like it, but it just didn´t suit the movie imo. Secondly, I kinda missed the clockvoices but it probably would´ve been annoying to hear the same things over and over again so it was okay not to add them I guess. Anyways, I think the clockdrawings were alright, but they could still use a bit of improvement. You could try to make them a bit more 3D-ish.

Overall 7 out of 10, 3 out of 5. I think this was an interesting movie. It was nice to see something different from the usual clock stuff. Just wondering, are you gonna make another episode of this? I´d like to see how this ends.
