[Empty white world]

Indeed kinda okay

Yeah, I would indeed call this movie okay. It's a kinda long movie, normally I'd think this is boring, but for some reason this movie didn't really bored me at all. It's deffinatly not the best thing I've seen here on NG, but it was surely not bad for one of your first submissions.

Well the worst thing about this movie were probably the graphics. Maybe they could use a little bit more color, but then again, maybe the black and white suits the movie better. The drawings themselves could use a little improvement here and there. At least there were no stickfigures in this, that's a good thing. The graphics were about the only bad part of this movie I could find, well done.

The good parts of this were first of all, the music. It suited the movie well, it really gave me some kind of sad feeling. Maybe you could add some sounds at some places, but it's okay if you leave it this way. For some reason I also liked the whole idea behind this movie. I dunno why exactly, but I just liked it. Probably has something to do with that kinda sad feeling. I'm glad that it's not some violent, pointless movie.

Well overall I'd give this movie 6 out of 10, 3 out of 5. Like I already said, this was not bad for one of your first submissions and 2.27 ain't a bad score you know. I wish you good luck with making your second submission, if you were going to make a second though.

The graphics could have been better, yes. But i don't think it need more colors. Well maybe different shades of gray, and dark tepid colors would be ok.

Not bad for your first try

Har har, well this was pretty funny actually, I especially liked the part with the rofflecopter =) I think you've done quite well for one of your first movies.

But I must say the movie might be a bit too long. I guess you can't make the song any shorter so I think you should use some more variety with the scenes or add some more, cause the movie was a bit boring after a while. Also the sprites didn't really looked that well, I think you should make them a bit smaller so that they'll look a bit better. About the music, I ain't really a big fan of System of a Down so I didn't really liked the music, but that's just a matter of taste.

Overall I'd give this movie 6 out of 10, 3 out of 5. Like I already said, you did quite well for one of your first movies. 2.35 ain't a bad score. One last thing, I think it would have been better if you didn't make a music video, cause if people don't like the song, they'll automaticly vote low on it. Anyways I hope your next movie will be something awesome and I hope you'll learn how to draw well someday =) Good luck with any future projects.

The ROFLcopter is one of the most liked part of my flash, which is good. :)

I wouldn't say that my flash was a bit too long since I think it was a bit too short, but then, I guess the boringness of the backgrounds probably made the flash look long. :S

I would make the sprites smaller, but then it gets quite hard to lip sync, but I guess I shouldn't be too bitchy about the difficulty of that. Also, I know not everyone will be a fan of SOAD.

I will say that 2.35 isn't a bad score, although I did see the score at over 3.00 when it was under judgment. :( Oh well.

And music videos, well, it kinda depends. I know I could get less of a score, but there will be people I don't need to listen to.

I'm pprobably going to make another music video (sorry to say that) since it'll give me more practice for my main project and there will be people that will be happy. I know it'll annoy some people more, but no matter what flash I make, I will always get a good side, a bad side and probably a side that's in the middle.

You need some more practice

It wasn't really what I would call "crap", but it wasn't really a good movie either. It was somewhere in between, a bit more on the crappy side maybe. Well at least it has some effort putten into it, better than all those crappy movies with no effort at all. Anyway, like I said the movies were not that good.

First, they were very short. Even watching the whole movie takes less than a minute. You should make them a bit longer and with a better storyline. You could start with the beginning, give a reason why Fighter killed himself for example. Second, the extra's were not that special. I mean it were just some sprites that I could watch, nothing really interesting. Well it were just extra's I guess,
say why don't you make a second movie with those sprites? I really like Final Fantasy VIII. Third, ur... were was the bonus material? Was that the last scene or what? I couldn't discover any bonus. Fourth, the graphics could use a little improvement here and there. Fifth, you should make a different text-style (I hope you know what I mean), sometimes it was a bit hard to read and in the second part, the text went a bit too fast.

Well the best thing about this movie was the music in my opinion, very good that you added that. Most movies without backgroundmusic are boring.

Anyway, overall I'd give this 5 out of 10. It wasn't bad for one of your first submissions, practice a little bit more and you might make a pretty good movie in the future. Good luck with any flashes you were going to make.

Good graphics, but runs very slow

Well this was pretty good for one of your first submissions. It's a good thing that it's not one of them Final Fantasy sprite movies again, cause I've already seen a whole lot of those. The graphics and the drawing style were very good, the best thing about this movie for sure. The sounds were okay, it could use some more sounds like wind sounds maybe, but it's not that important. The voice-acting was not that good, but that not that bad either. I think you should keep that the way it is.

The main bad thing about this movie was that it ran incredibly slow. It could be my computer though, but I don't think that's the reason. I think it's really necessary that it runs a bit faster, especially if you were planning to make them fight in the second episode. It's a bit annoying to watch a fight when everything goes incredibly slow. Another bad thing was, as you already said, that barely anything happens in this part. It was a bit boring actually, even for an intro. I hope the next episodes will be a bit more spectacular and a bit longer as well.

Well overall I would give it 7 out of 10, I'll vote 3 for now. Final Fantasy is one of my favorite game series so I'm pretty interested in the next couple episodes, I'll keep an eye out for them, good luck with making them.

Aw another one

Aw, another Final Fantasy Sprite movie, I've seen hundreds of those. Although this is only the first episode, I really don't get what the story was about (just like in all the other FF sprite movies =S). To me it were just a couple of short movies sticked together. I hope the second episode makes things a bit more clear. Well about the movie itself, it had some good things and some bad things. Some good things were that you added backgroundmusic which is really important, the fights were better than the average FF sprite movie in my opinion and I think it's good that you can click on the text so that you don't have to read very quickly. The bad things about it were the color of the text and the backgroundcolor of the textboxes, it was very hard to read sometimes. Lightblue and black are indeed better choices I'm sure. The movie could also use more sounds. At the beginning it barely had any sounds, later I heard some more sword sounds. That was good, but there were no sounds when the characters used magic. Please add some sounds for this. Overall, I would say that it was pretty good for your first submission (this was your first submission right?). Keep it up and good luck with this series and all that.

Yes it was my first submission (ofcourse I've made some other flash movies for practise, but this is the first one I've ever submitted. My first ones that I've made are really crappy=)). I've found it really hard to find any GOOD magic soundeffects. Since I can't make them myself, I'll continue to search for them.

Weird

That was a pretty weird movie, there wasn't really anything interesting about it. The thing that I liked most about it were the sounds. I liked the bird sounds, the flowing water and the backgroundmusic when that weird guy came in. The drawings were pretty nice as well. Now the bad things, their wasn't really a storyline or whatever, just that weird long-necked thing (must have been the blupe) going "blahaa". Another weird creature passed by, the blupe looked at it, than a bird landed upon his head. Than that weird guy came in, danced a bit and that was it. I don't really call that funny, but that's just me. Well anyway, I hope your next submission is better, good luck with it.

Nice

This movie was pretty cool, I liked the humor in it. Especially the 28 minutes later thing, lol. The graphics were pretty good, could have been a bit better here and there, but overall they were good. The backgroundmusic and the sounds were also good, they were from the game so they can't be bad. I didn't really heard what bond said at the beginning, maybe the voice-acting should be a bit better in the sense of that it's a bit more clear.

Anyway I think it's too bad that it's a little short, maybe you should make a second episode were bond goes trough the rest of the facility. Well good luck with it if your gonna make one.

Aw why does it end that way?

Ow and it started so good. I thought this is gonna be a good story and than bang the turtle said something (I could barely hear what he was saying) and it ended. End was sure suprising, anyway the good things about the movie were the backgroundmusic(I really liked it and it deffinatly fits) and the style(I loved the drawing style). The graphics could have used some color, but it could ruin the movie as well so don't put them in if they make the movie look worse. And well I prefered if it had a serious ending, but other people may like this. Anyways I'll give it a six, not bad for one of your first submissions, good luck with your next one.

Thanks for the comments! I only started learning flash a week ago, so this is very encouraging. The ending is a quote from Napoleon Dynamite. I guesse not everyone is a fan of the film. Oh well, it takes all kinds! Thanks again!

[Toad's Gone bad]

Stupid annoying voices

Mweh, I didn't really like it, but it was okay I guess. Looks a bit like toad's rage, but not that much. The voices were a bit annoying, they weren't funny at all in my opinion (I seem to be the only one). I prefer if you get rid of the stupid voices and add some nice backgroundmusic in it. Also the black background was a bit boring. You don't have to put a background from a mario game in it, but please don't make it black. That's about it, was a little short, but you shouldn't make this longer cause it will get incredibly boring than. Anyways good luck with the next submission.

Nice movie

Nice little movie, some randomness in between I liked that. Graphics were good, maybe you should try to give the figures body's, but the rest was good and well drawn (7/10). Backgroundmusic was well chosen and it deffinatly fits (7/10). The replay button didn't seem to work. That was too bad, I hope you'll fix that. Anyway good movie, I'll give it 7 out of 10 (3 out of 5). Good luck with your next movie/game.
