Hi there, GFG. Long time no see, how are you? :)

I´m here to do a review of course, not for chitchatting so let´s start off:
To be honest, I really didn´t know you could draw and animate so well. The graphics were really great in my opinion. Good effects (loved the 3d at some points), nice and smooth action and everything was well drawn. I liked that. I would give a 9 for graphics if I still could, and an 8 for style, but unfortunaly I can´t since the redesign.

The sounds were also good. Was the stickguy you who was talking in the end or were they both done by the same person? Otherwise you got a good voice for doing some voiceacting. And not everyone can say that. The backgroundmusic was good too and suited the movie well. My only comlaint about sounds is that I missed them in the beginning of the fight. Talking about punching and fighting sounds. But that was okay. I would give the sounds an 8 (if I still could...).

Well those are usually the only things I really care about in a flash. There´s only one other thing which you couldn´t rate in the old system and that´s the plot. Well as with almost any FBF movie it was kinda random. In the end it seemed to have a plot, but I don´t think there was one. I´m personally not a very big fan of completely random movies (even though I made quite a random one myself). So that was a negative point for me, but meh... whatever.

Overall 8 out of 10, 4 out of 5. Again, I was suprised by how well you can draw and animate. Wouldn´t mind seeing some more of you´re stuff. Keep up the good work and I really hope to see you again in the Zelda Club someday, although I think you left for good :(

So, let's get into it, eh? ;)

Well, first of all, thank you for the postitive remarks, really appreciated, and motivating :D
And the negative remarks..well, I know them, I know them all. The sound ffects, well, I was planning that, but got lazy, and forgot about it...and well just too anticipating to get the damn thing into the portal...I spent too long on it..well...Been on hiatus for too long ^^

The randomness - plot issue. Meh, I'm not that type of animator who can shit the most amazing and epic stories, I'm working on that but in the meantime I'm going to satisfy myself with these type of things.
But I've been told I've got some writing skills. We'll see what time brings.

Oh, and don't worry, I'll hop in the Zelda club. It's just....the whole redesign, found a new anime, social life etc....oh, and the fact that I finished TP about ten times and I'm focusing on other intrests ^^ But that doesn't mean Zelda lost that special place in my hart.

Actually....my sister is also getting very hardcore in the series..something to discuss.

[FF: Battle for Newgrounds]

The graphics, music and sounds were pretty good in my opinion. The plot was okay, but the battles were over too quickly. In most of them it was a one hit K.O. which was too bad. Especially the final battle dissapointed me a bit. Also, a couple of things just came out of nowhere. The chocobo part didn´t made much sense and then there was a big black hole all of a sudden... :s

Anyway, as for improvement stuff. The battles could be longer (like I already said). It needs a replay button and maybe a scene-selection would be nice. I think the thundaga and blind could´ve looked a little better too. And like milinko said, try to speed it up a little. That was about it.

Overall 7 out of 10, 3 out of 5. I liked this movie. It was well made, but there´s still room for improvement.

Yeah, I have to agree the battles were over too quickly, but they were very hard to animate, and I never expected to get such positive feedback, otherwise I would have put WAAAAAAAY more effort into everything, especially the battles.

[30 hour finale]

Good collab

A bit random, like you see in most collabs, but the frame by frame animation was really cool. Some parts were really great and some parts were less good in my opinion, but every author added something of decent quality. The song was nice too.

A bad thing about this movie was that the song had a quiet intro, but you added frozenfire´s part there. The intro was not really suitable for the frame by frame and stick animation he made, so the beginning kinda sucked. You could´ve added a screen with a list of names who worked on this collab or something like that during the intro. Also, when the song ended the movie was still playing for a little while.

Something that annoyed me was that the next and prev buttons at the bios took me to a website sometimes. And sometimes they took me to the next page. That´s probably not right, you should take another look at that.

Overall 7 out of 10, 3 out of 5. It all looked good, but you should´ve payed more attention to when the song actually started and when the song ended.

[The Newgrounds Redesign]

Good, but the drawings need some work

Lol, you really gotta work a bit on your drawing skills :) They were a little better then in most of your flashes, but they still seemed to be drawn by a 5 year old. Especially how Tom and Wade walked, that looked really bad. Only the mouse of Afro´s PC was nicely drawn, but you didn´t do that by yourself did you?

But overall the flash was quite nice in my opinion. The voices were okay, the preloader was excellent. And like most of your flashes, there´s a little story in it which is good. I really liked how it ended with Afro_Stud making newgrounds pink XD

Overall 7 out of 10, 3 out of 5. Well I don´t think you care much about it, but if you want to get a higher score I strongly suggest you work on the graphics :)

The only help I got was getting a picture of a mouse and drawing over it.

Better graphics, well, I improve from time to time, so eventually, I should be making flashes with far better flashes.

[Axe vs Line]

Okay

I really liked the drawings. The background looked very good and I also loved the preloader. The song was also alright, but I personally don´t really like it when authors add a song that doesn´t really have anything to do with the movie.

Anyways, I think the "fight" could´ve been a little better. The axe just made a couple of spins and the line just moved over the screen a couple of times. Then the line turns into a sword, attacks the axe and then some random spaceship kills the axe and the sword... kinda weird if you ask me. It would cooler if the axe actually smashed some things while trying to hit the line. And there should be a much longer battle between the axe and sword. You should leave the spaceship cause that really didn´t made sense.

Overall 6 out of 10, 3 out of 5. The graphics were good, but that really is the only good part about it in my opinion. The movie just doesn´t make much sense.

Nice movie, but an unoriginal story

I´ve watched the other two episodes before and I didn´t really expected the story would go like this. I was expecting it would be a bit less serious. I think the current story is alright, but not very original. With Link being the chosen one etc. I´ve seen a lot of stuff like that before, so I´d prefer the less serious story :) I´m pretty glad you at least added a guy like Diggs, he´s bad timing was very funny.

Anyway, the graphics were excellent. I think you´ve improved quite a bit looking at the first two episodes (not that those were bad). Everything was well drawn and the animation was good too. I also liked the voices a lot, and especially what you did with the Big Deku´s voice. As for what could improve, perhaps you should add a scene-selection cause the movie is quite long. And you should add some different pictures at the end, cause you could clearly see they came out of some sort of comic book.

Overall 9 out of 10, 5 out of 5. Beside the unoriginal story, it was very good in my opinion. Congrats with all the awards and keep up the good work.

Short, but I liked it

A little short, but that´s okay. It´s a pretty funny movie. There isn´t much that can improve here actually. The graphics are very good. Good drawings and good animation. Only the backgrounds could improve a little bit maybe. The trees and the house didn´t looked that good. I´m not sure if you did that on purpose though. And I think Ganon could look a bit more evil. The sounds were nice (I liked the squeeze sound=p ) and you got some good voices for link, navi and ganondorf. They suited those characters well.

As for other stuff, well... the menu looked a bit empty with only a play button. But on the other hand, it´s a bit pointless to add scene-selections, volume buttons and stuff like that in this. You could however add a quality changer button thingie there. And you could make it look a little bit better.

Overall 8 out of 10, 4 out of 5. Well it was short like I said, but I liked it a lot. I really hope you could make a few more of these short and funny Zelda flashes. Congrats with your award and keep up the excellent work.

[Super Mario bros Z ep 3 (old series)]

Another great episode

Another great episode. Thought this was gonna be quite a boring one, cause of all the talking in the beginning. Luckily there was a great fight at the end. I must say, the fights look amazing in this series. Very enjoyable to watch. Series also got some humor in it. You should deffinatly keep Luigi in every episode =P

Sounds and music are also good. I recognized the music from Metroid Prime 2 when Metal Sonic appeared. Great choice, suits the scene very well. The Mario, Sonic etc. voices are also very good. At least you don´t have to read everything then.

There´s just one thing that was not good in this. It was annoying that the position of the arrow at the bottom changed all the time. Can´t you just keep it in the corner? Would be much nicer and perhaps you should give the textbox at the bottom a new layout as well.

Overall 9 out of 10, 5 out of 5. In my opinion, this is deffinatly one of the greatest sprite series on Newgrounds. I´ve seen many series, but I rarely see one where the action looks as good as in this one. Probably because you´re changing the camera view many times. Anyway, keep up the excellent work. Can´t wait to see episode 4.

Easy way to get to top 10 submitters, lol

Oh man, what an easy way to get into the top 10 most submitting authors =) Just add a different picture and voila, another new episode that´s gonna pass judgement. I don´t really mind getting 80 free protection points though. Anyway, it´s quite funny that cause of the new batting average rule, you got a 3.96 batting average lol =P

Alright, about the movie: well the only decent things about it is the preloader and the "Sex on the Beach"-song which adds some humor to it. Perhaps you should put a little bit more effort in it from now on or change a couple of things. People who see this for the first time will laugh maybe, but it´s getting very boring for those who´ve nearly seen all the episodes so far.

Overall 4 out of 10, 2 out of 5. I am wondering if you can make it to 80 submissions. I mean, he has been in Europe, Africa and South America already. Only Australia, America, Canada and Asia left and still 49 episodes to be made =S

[Ultimate Ninja Showdown 4]

Very nice movie

Graphics: Very nice 3D effects. I must say though, the fight didn´t really looked that good. It looks a little weird that their whole bodies move and not just their arms when they swing their katana´s, know what I mean? I understand that might be a little diffecult to make, but maybe you should practise a bit more with that.

Sounds: The voices were not bad, but like the guy before me, I sometimes couldn´t hear what the fat guy was saying either. You did gave the other ninja subtitles, why didn´t you give the fat ninja and the mcdonals guy subtitles as well? It also didn´t had any subtitles at the end. I think you should just add them everywere in the movie. As for the other things, well the music was okay. It could use some sounds at some places like during the fight.

Interactivity: Well it got plenty of options at the end, but what I missed was a simple replay button. It would be nice if you added that.

Humor: I think the fat guys order took a bit long and later in the movie the mcdonald guy repeated it all again. Got a little boring, but it was still a very funny movie.

Overall 8 out of 10, 4 out of 5. Well even though there are still some things to improve, I think it was a very nice movie overall. I watched part 3 as well and I think your doing a very good job. I hope you´ll make many more. Keep up the excellent work.

I can work the subtitles in for all characters. Trying to make improvements in all areas, these flashes are great opportunities to sharpen my skills.
