Very nice

This was a really long episode, but in my opinion this was one of your best submissions yet.

I loved all the random jokes and stuff you put in this one. I thought that odd *gasp* sound Bahamut made, when he saw that his house was destroyed, was very funny. The news-report was kinda funny too, although I didn't know what to focus on as there was a banner with random funny stuff and a news-report with random funny stuff going at the same time.

The few special effects this movie contained weren't done well in my opinion though. Like the fireball Bahamut attacked Afro with and Afro disappearing. It could've used a sound effect there. Same goes for the amnesia... circles. But on it's not really such a big deal, since this series isn't really about the action and violence (other than blowing up the universe).

Overall 9 out of 10, 5 out of 5. Like I said: one of your best flashes yet, if not the best. Hopefully the upcoming episodes will be just as good.

The hell with Gears of War and Call of Duty! XD

Fathers Day...

Heh Fathers Day. One of the most bullshit days of the year along with Mothers Day if you ask me. I think they're even worse than Valentine's Day. At least on Valentine's Day I won't be forced to pay family visits and such, it feels optional =/

But anyway the flash itself wasn't anything impressive in my opinion. It was a bit predictable that AfroStud would appear again and be up to something. I liked how you did Luke's voice though, he really sounds like a cartoonish old man. For the rest it was a bit short, but the voice-acting was done well again. All in all I think it was an OK movie.

Overall 6 out of 10, 3 out of 5.

I still think Valentine's Day is the worst.

Nice

This was a very nicely made episode in my opinion. The funniest scene must be were Bahamut took out his golden glove and got punched in the face by the AVGN and the golden glove fell back on his head. Classic joke that never gets old :p

Furthermore the drawings seemed to get a little better again. I saw you tried to use some shade effects and stuff, which made things look much nicer. The Wii and the bomb looked very good as well, although I guess those might have been taken from existing sprites and pictures. I also liked Pokelord-EX' voice-acting work. His voice fits your flashes quite well.

Overall 8 out of 10, 4 out of 5. So far I think Graham's Weird Day with Idiots On The Moon and this series is still my favorite flash series from you.

kinggila responds:

That golden gauntlet is a classic.

Meh

Besaid Island? That's from Final Fantasy 10 right?

Not much to say about this flash actually. I think it missed some humor and it wasn't really anything special in general. Although the conclusion with Bahamut on Besaid Island was a nice frame, nice sprite editing there. For the rest I kinda liked the random characters walking the background again.

Overall 5 out of 10, 2 out of 5.

Yep, FFX indeed. :)

Very nice

I always thought the Edgar N' Locke series was one of your earliest, but apparently you already made over 30 flashes before this one. Oh well, anyway this one was quite nicely made. Seems like sprite editing had become really easy for you at this point, everything looked very smooth. I also saw that you weren't too proud of Terra's voice, but I thought it was good enough. Most of the voices were done well actually.

As for the bad points: There was a bit of an anti-climax at the end in my opinion. At first everybody seemed to dislike each other for their taste in metal music, but then they just decided to headbang to whatever metal song. I was expecting some fight scene at least or the planet being destroyed or some other random act of violence.

Also it's once again good that you added some random facts & crap. I'm not really familiar in the metal music world (although I like some bands), so I didn't know what the characters were listening to actually. Some jokes and stuff went over my head because of that, but the random facts helped to understand.

Overall 8 out of 10, 4 out of 5.

Very good

This was a good flash in my opinion. I saw that there were some new designs for several objects, which I thought weren't in any of the former flashes yet. The couch Bahamut was sleeping on looked very nice now that it had more depth. The shotgun was also nicely drawn. I think the shadow below Bahamut is kinda odd though. I'm not sure if it was in all your former flashes as well, but it really caught my eye when he was sleeping on the couch.

Anyway I also liked the idea of making this your 33 1/3rd flash and adding 1/3th of your next movie into this. Is it exactly 1/3rd of the next movies runtime or did you just end it at a convenient moment (to not reveal too much)?

Overall 8 out of 10, 4 out of 5. It's nice to see some more improvements in the graphics.

kinggila responds:

The shadow below Bahamut has always been there. As for the 1/3 of another flash, it was close to that.

Happy belated birthday Casualty!

Casualty looks sort of odd in the Bahamut universe. But I suppose it's only logical that he turns out different than the rest if you drew him over from a real picture. I think you made him look quite nice though, he looks better than your other character models in my opinion. Perhaps you should've considered doing the same for all your other characters, although the sudden change might be a bit weird and they could be harder to animate.

Anyway this happy birthday flash isn't much special, but I wasn't expecting anything great from it. Technically it was well made and as usual the voice-acting was done pretty well.

Overall 7 out of 10, 3 out of 5.

Casualty rocks!

Nice

Indeed this movie seemed quite irrelevant for Afro's birthday at first. First some scenes about Afro's album and then all of a sudden Bahamut goes "Happy birthday to you". You put a nice reference there to that earlier flash of yours, but like Haggard I was disappointed that there was no real bomb in there. Even more disappointed that you didn't show us what you got Afro for his birthday. It would've left room for another good joke.

Anyway, I liked how there were so many small and hidden jokes in this one. I thought Afro's album simply being called "The Album" was kinda funny. Also the FUCK YOU Bahamut was constantly shouting at Afro when he was singing Wannabe was nice. And so was the reference to the idiots on the moon episode when Graham was flying towards the moon on the background.

Overall 7 out of 10, 3 out of 5.

After several bomb incidents in previous flashes, this is to be expected sooner or later.

Confusing at first

This was a confusing movie at first. I had no idea who that guy was who threw the remote to the moon. I thought he was supposed to be another one of your friends, maybe Pokelord-Ex, but I was sure he was never in your later movies which would've been odd. Also, I was under the impression that it was you who was on the moon with Graham (like I said in a former review). I thought I heard Bahamut's voice at the end of Graham's final episode, but turns out that it was Afro. No idea how he got on the moon though, I guess I must've missed something somewhere.

Anyway, it's good that you explained most of the things at the end of the movie. Now I finally know how that hole to another dimension got into Graham's house. Where Bahamut got such a hole is still a mystery to me though, but I guess I shouldn't question it all that much. It wasn't supposed to make much sense in the first place.

I also liked how this movie referred back to some of your earlier flashes and gave the real conclusion to the Graham's Weird Day series along with the ending of the censor remote.

Overall 8 out of 10, 4 out of 5. A very nice movie.

~Auz

kinggila responds:

No, that was meant to be Afro's voice at the end. Also, the people who threw the remote to the moon was the angriest gamer you've ever heard, the Angry Video Game Nerd.

Alright

This stuff happens to me all the time as well. I tend to forget people's birthdays often, and even worse: people's names. It's quite embarrassing if you just met a person, but can't recall his/her name anymore five minutes later... Oh well, at least I'm good at remembering faces.

Anyway, this movie wasn't that special in my opinion. I guess it was just a sorry to Anderson and Blue Hippo so it wasn't supposed to be special. I must say that I liked the little effect when the devil send Bahamut to hell, with Bahamut roaring and all. But that's about all I can say about this flash.

Overall 6 out of 10, 3 out of 5.

~Auz

kinggila responds:

I forget names as well as faces and it really annoys me.
