[I Am One]

Pretty good

This is a pretty good movie in my opinion. The drawings were simply awesome, I especially think the scene with the sun shining on the clouds was most impressive. The animation was nice and smooth too. I also kinda liked the song.

The only criticism I could give this movie is that it I´ve seen quite a lot of movies like this. Music video´s which are or a bit random FBF-ish or have a vague plot, usually with a lot of violence and a depressing atmosphere. I´d say this movie was pretty close to that which was too bad.

Overall 8 out of 10, 4 out of 5. It was enjoyable to watch, but I just thought it wasn´t that special. I still think it was good though, keep going like this and I´m sure you´ll win a lot more awards someday.

Thanks, I kind of see what you mean, I'm more of a loop tweener though, ha, and I like to distance myself from the "violent" videos, not that I'm against it, I would use it(have used it actually) if I felt like it brought something to the animation more than just to entertain through gore, but I didn't feel it was violent though.

[Bahamut's Newgrounds]

This one was alright

Like most other reviewers here, I`m also not really a big fan of the "My Newgrounds"-hype. But this one was alright in my opinion.

It´s nice that you added your famous Bahamut sprite in the background instead of using a webcam. It made this a bit different from the usual "My Newgrounds" movies, so some originality points there. I also liked that you drew everything yourself. I think your drawing skills have seriously improved a lot over the years. The sound was also of good quality in this movie, and I like your British accent :p

As for the bad parts. Well, I already know most of the stuff you told us in this movie. For me it wasn´t all that interesting. I wish you´d told us a bit more about other stuff than your NG stats and what you do here most of the time. That´s pretty much the only bad thing I think of...

Overall 7 out of 10, 3 out of 5. A nice movie. Keep up the good work.

Indeed. Back when I made my first flash, the only drawing I did was creating random squares for lipsync. Infact, I wouldn't consider that as drawing. But yes, my drawing skills have improved a lot since I started. I'm glad I have some determination to improve on drawing, although I could be a lot better than I am now.

I would have said something about myself outside of NG life, but sadly, I am still unemployed and I didn't want to make up crap that isn't true. If I did it when I had a job, I knew I would have been too late for the MY NG fad.

[Knuxrouge's Newgrounds]

Hmm

Hmm, this is quite an odd "my newgrounds" movie. Totally different from the other ones and I´m pretty glad about that. Some points for originality. I think the lay-out was okay too. It was pretty simple, just a black background and a white line with some characters on it, but it looked kinda cool. I also liked the font of the text and the music was alright.

There were also some things that I didn´t like too much about this movie. First off, the pause and play button were almost right in the middle of the screen. I´d say, that´s a pretty bad place to put buttons like those. Put them somewhere in a corner instead and perhaps make them smaller. Secondly, I think the movie started okay with a little talk about your stats and what clubs you´re in and stuff, but later on it got kinda boring and hard to follow. I know it was supposed to be funny, but it became such a long and pointless conversation. Seriously, try to make it shorter.

Overall 5 out of 10, 2 out of 5. It was okay, could still use a lot of improvement.

Thanks. I'm going to break this down, in my previous flash, Chaos Sonic. Everyone complained that they had to press something to pass the text, so I left that out in this one--but look, now people are complaining that the text passes too fast, so I added a pause and play button--but now, people are complaining that they have to pause and play--WHAT ELSE CAN I DO!! You have to understand, Some people are not going to like the system I use, because of their perference. I would say that your comments have been noted, but honestly, they aren't, becuase although I may use a system that appeals to you, there will be tons of others who would bitch and complain about it, so now, I'll use the system that appeals to me, because if no one else, I'll be satisfied.

Now to the other parts of your review. The buttons were put there, because that was the only place where it wouldn't interrupt the text, the size was made to make it easily accessable. You didn't find humor in it, but others did. Too bad.

Hmm

I´ve seen quite a lot of NOObNation flashes and I always thought they were pretty good compared to a whole lot of other groups you see on NG. This collab was alright too, although it wasn´t as good as what I´ve seen from NN till now.

iShirm´s flash was a pretty good one imo. The drawings were decent and the "English motherfucker"-joke in the end made me smile. There wasn´t much too improve there. I just think the background could´ve been drawn a little better. Also the location didn´t made much sense, but that´s okay since the whole movie didn´t made much sense anyway.

Little-Rena´s flash: Well I dunno about that one. I didn´t really saw the joke, if there was any. Also, the pumpkin seemed more like some sort of fruit and the background didn´t look that good either. The popping sound when the eyes appeared was kinda funny though.

Overall 6 out of 10, 3 out of 5. I agree with what milinko and Coop said earlier, you should get a few more people to join the collab. You only have two short flashes now and they weren´t great or anything, just nice.

[Ah - It's Halloween]

Hehe

Pretty good flash you made here. I liked the part with those little kids at the door and bahamut asking what the trick was :p And those kids dressed up as characters from your flashes was a nice idea. Also, the music was good in my opinion and the voices were decent enough.

The only part that can still improve by a fair bit is the graphics. You´re still using a lot of squares in your drawings which look a little ugly. Also, I had no idea what was in front of Bahamut in the first scene. It looked like one of those speech-thingies, but I guess it was a laptop or something. Anyways, I have to say though that it does seem like you´re improving. The stairs looked pretty good, the pumpkin on the standard was well-drawn and the kids at the door looked alright too.

Overall 8 out of 10, 4 out of 5. Good movie, I liked it.

Haha, yes, that thing in front of me is supposed to be a laptop and is what it should look like if you face that direction. :P And I'd say I've improved on my drawings. They look a lot better than the graphics I did around this time last year. :D

[Browser Battles]

Good movie

Good parts: I expected it would turn out in a big fight, but the way it ended now was much better in my opinion. It was kinda funny that the music was so serious until the ending and that the end was like that. Also, the mouths were drawn very well and the camera movement was very good too.

Bad parts: I think there wasn´t anything that was really bad. Perhaps you could work a bit more on the backgrounds, adding more details to the grass, buildings and the sky. But that´s about it.

Overall 7 out of 10, 3 out of 5. It was quite enjoyable with some nice jokes. Keep up the good work.

[Field of honor]

Graphics: The graphics were awesome. The upcoming sun, the clouds and the redish sky looked wonderful. The two characters were nicely drawn and animated as well. My only complaint is that the swordstrikes didn´t look too spectacular, but I guess you wanted to make it look as realistic as possible.

Sounds/Music: I think it´s cool that you made the music for this yourself. And it sounded really good too. The characters had good voices and the "ehyou"-like sound when the sun went down quickly made me laugh :) There´s nothing that can really improve when it comes to sounds.

Overall 8 out of 10, 4 out of 5. It was a very good and funny movie in my opinion, even though it was kinda short. I do have a last small suggestion and that is that you should translate the japanese text to english, especially in the final screen. I know that button probably says replay, but just make it a bit clearer for all of us who don´t speak japanese.

As for the text , it's nonsense XD Well, the three characters at the beginning mean F O H, I just used a Japanese like font. Also I'm glad the sound didn't distress, it was all recorded with my crappy cellphone :)

[Kite Plight]

Very nice

A wonderful movie you made here, I really loved it. It had great graphics in my opinion. Everything was well drawn and the scene switching to 3D at certain times looked really good. I also liked the music, it was very playfull and it suited the movie well.

I only got one small complaint. That is that the font of the text in the pre-loader wasn´t the same as in the rest of your movie + it said "loaded" while "Loaded" would probably look better. Now I don´t think people care that much about it (and I don´t really care either), but still it looks a bit unprofessional somehow.

Overall 10 out of 10, 5 out of 5. A nice animation with a cute story. It´s something different from the usual stuff you see on Newgrounds. I hope to see some more of these kinda movies from you, keep up the excellent work.

Oh, the "Loaded" was suppose to be the same font as the Kite Plight title ("Rustler"). That's my bad on my part, sorry. I didn't think that would happen on others' computers. :-/

[Jim and Pals Shorts: Ep 3]

Nice one

Hehehe, nice one. I liked the joke in this, it made me laugh. You don´t really see that kind of humor often on NG (at least I don´t), so lots of pluspoints for that. Quality-wise it was also pretty well made if you ask me. The background looked great, the characters looked pretty good too (seems like you got your own style and I like that), the sounds were good (loved the balloon popping sound) and there was also nothing wrong with the animation.

The only complaints I have are about the title screen. I suggest you move the text up a little bit so that the dots won´t fall out of the oval shape. it kinda looks ugly this way to me. Also, I don´t like the white background you used there. Perhaps you should mix a few colors there or just draw something. One last suggestion: I think some music in the menuscreen would be nice. An intro tune for your series or something like that.

Overall 8 out of 10, 4 out of 5. It was a very nice flash in my opinion. Not much room for improvement, beside the menuscreen. But that isn´t really the most important part of a flash, so it´s okay if you want to keep it the way it is now. Anyways, keep up the good work and I´d like to see more of these.

[Stick and Stick Episode 1]

Hmm

Hmmz, it was kinda short if you ask me and not much was happening then the usual stuff you see in stick movies. That was the biggest bad part about this movie. Be a bit more creative with plots. Also, the text was a bit hard to read at times, since you just "draw" the text yourself instead of typing it in text boxes. Last thing, the fight scene was too fast for me (and probably for anyone) to follow. I couldn´t tell what happened, try to make the action slower and make the scene longer. As for what could still be added; Well I´d say add some sound effects for the fight, it´ll make it much nicer.

The good parts of the movie; I liked the backgroundmusic you choose. It doesn´t really suit the fight scene, but I liked it a lot still. It´s way better than some loud music you usually see in movies like this. Also, the movie was fast paced and I liked that. I didn´t thought the movie was boring at some point because of this. Just make the fight scene slower, but keep the conversations fast paced. Last, I liked the color combination of white and grey you used.

Overall 4 out of 10, 2 out of 5. Well I think it was just a basic stick movie, "nothing too new or interesting". It had some good parts it had some bad parts. One last thing, when the movie ended the music kept playing. I don´t think that was done on purpose. Just add a keyframe at the end (maybe add "StopAllSounds" as an action for it) and the music should stop when the movie starts over again.
