[Animal Politics]

I can see a daily feature here

Graphics: This movie has some very good graphics. Everything was drawn very well. I especially liked the way how the politicians were drawn, looked pretty funny. The graphics is one of the best part of this animation I think.

Sounds/Music: The sounds in this were alright, nothing wrong with. The music was also okay, I'm not really impressed by it or anything, but at least it has music. Maybe you could put a little conversation at the beginning of the flash. The movie isn't really that long and it's a good way to put some more humor in it.

Interactivity: It could use a bit more interactivity like a replay and play button, instead of that it just starts over and over again. Since it's a pretty good flash, it would also be nice if it had a menuscreen with some stuff on it, like credits and such.

Humor: Well the politicians looked pretty funny, but you don't really do much with that. Like I said above, maybe you should add a funny conversation at the beginning.

Overall 8 out of 10, 4 out of 5. It was a pretty nice movie, a bit short maybe, but it was nice still. I can see a daily feature here. I liked that this was not only made for entertainment, but also warns us for something. I hope to see some more stuff from you in the future. Keep up the excellent work.

[The Legend Of Zelda Ep. 1]

Not bad, but not good either

Graphics: The characters themselve looked pretty nice, but the backgrounds looked pretty bad. They could use a lot more details. The windows didn´t looked that good, the fighting scene kinda sucked and there could be some more stuff like trees and paintings at some places. Also, most of the backgrounds looked 2 dimensional, they were just flat. I suggest that if you ever decide to make a second episode (which I highly doubt), you improve a bit on your drawings.

Sounds/Music: Well you just added simple Zelda music at a lot of places. That´s okay, it would be nice if you add special music that suits the movie well, but this is also fine. The sounds in this were okay and the voice-acting was alright. I could understand most of what was said. Still it´s always good to add subtitles. Anyway, the sounds were probably the best part of this flash.

Violence: Like I already said above, the fighting scene kinda sucked. I know it doesn´t need to have blood or anything, a stalfos doesn´t bleed after all, but at least you could work a bit on the animation in those scenes. Link should move a bit more then just pointing his sword forward twice and shooting an arrow in it´s head. Also make it longer.

Interactivity: Well not that much interactivity in this movie. Just a play button and that´s all. A scene-selection would be a good idea, since the movie is pretty long and you can clearly see it has a few chapters (Zelda get´s captured - Link shows up - Link goes to Fire Lands - End).

Overall 5 out of 10, 2 out of 5. What I noticed about this movie was that you putted a lot of effort in drawing Zelda, Link, Gannon and the Stalfosses, but the background just looks bad. That was the main reason for me to give it just an average score. This episode was submitted more then two years ago and I doubt it takes that long to make this, so I guess you just forgot about this or just gave up.

[Average Man]

That was pretty good

Graphics: Very good animation and everything was well drawn. At some points, I thought the grahpics were starting to get worse, but they got better after that again, so it was alright. Anyway, the graphics is one of the best parts of this animation in my opinion, and they´re very important so that´s a big plus.

Sounds: The music was pretty nice, the singers voice seemed to suit Mario pretty well somehow. Maybe it could´ve used some sounds at some places, like when he got hit by that goomba in his face, but that isn´t really necessary, it´s fine the way it is now.

Interactivity: No menuscreen at all, that´s too bad. I know it´s a movie and not a game, but this didn´t even had a play button. I suggest you add a little menuscreen somewhere, with a play button and credits and stuff like that. I still give you a 2 for this, cause it did had a replay button, but try to put a bit more interactivity in it.

Overall 8 out of 10, 4 out of 5. It was a pretty good movie and I enjoyed watching it. I guess it wasn´t able to get an award today because it was submitted too late, but I think this will get one tomorrow. A daily first or second is deffinatly possible since 4.00+ is usually the score for those two places. Anyway, keep up the excellent work and good luck with any other future projects.

[Little Fighter Alpha Ch.8]

One of the best episodes of the series

The last chapter for me to review, episode 8. It was indeed one of the best episodes of the series like you said. It was kinda predictable that Freeze wasn´t dead at the end of the fight. Like in movies, if they cannot see the body anymore, they´re always still alive. I also predicted that Deep was coming back in some later episode and voila, he showed up here saving Rudolf and co.

Anyway, the music in this was awesome once again, I was quite impressed this time. It´s been a while since I last saw one of the episodes, so I kinda forgot how good the music was in the older chapters. The graphics were also pretty nice once again, you used the sprites very well, it´s even pretty diffecult to see if it are sprites or not. I just noticed how weird that guy with the brown trousers walks, he holds his arms up all the time while the rest just walks normally =), it looks as if he´s some kinda zombie or something. Anyway, I also noticed that you´ve added something new, the buttons at the right bottom corner of the screen. Pretty nice that you added that, I hope you´ll also add that in the next episodes.

Overall 8 out of 10, 4 out of 5. Well that was it, all the chapters have been reviewed by me now, still 4 chapters who haven´t come out yet. I´m wondering if you guys are even working on chapter 9 at all, it has been about 8 months now. I do hope it will come out soon, I´ve enjoyed every episode of this series and I would like to know how this story ends. Anyway, keep up the good work and I wish you good luck with the rest of the series (if you´re working on them). It would deffinatly deserve a few more awards.

[Black Mages 4]

Not as good as Black Mages 5, but still nice

I see you have improved so much on your work. I´ve seen black mages 5 this week, which was awesome (congrats with the weekly first for that one by the way), but this one wasn´t as good as part 5. It was still a nice movie though, but too bad it was remake of some or your older work.

What I liked about these movies is all the falling and then they get a sword or something againts their head doing huge amounts of damage. I also liked the music in this, although it wouldn´ve been nice if you added different music for different parts of the movie. The beginning for example should´ve had some more relaxed music until the fighting starts. That´s when the current music should´ve started. The graphics in this were not bad. They have improved a lot in every episode of the series. This part could´ve used some better animation, but you´ve worked on that in part 5. As for the rest, the style was alright. The violence was just good, some blood, but not too much. The interactivity was okay, a little menuscreen at the end. Would be nice if it had a scene selection, but it did had out takes which were pretty cool. And the movie was just fun to watch, so a lot of points for humor.

Overall 8 out of 10, 4 out of 5. Well compared to episode 5, this was just a pretty good movie, but not really an awesome one. I still enjoyed watching it anyway and I decided to give it a pretty high score. Too bad you aren´t going to make a Black Mages 6, I really hoped to see some more of this stuff, but keep up the good work and good luck with any other new movies you´re going to make.

[Black Mages 5]

Lol, very nice movie

This was a very nice movie. It reminded me of the madness series, with all the random violence and all that. I guess there wasn't really a story in this, the characters just started hitting eachother and it got worse and worse. What I liked about this movie were:

The music and the sounds, they were pretty good. Some nice final fantasy music and the sounds were very good and run equal with the graphics (hope you know what I mean). I also liked the graphics, they were awesome. I especially liked the colors you used, the special effects were pretty good and everything was drawn pretty well. The graphics altogether looked good, which is important. What I also liked were all those damage numbers everywere in the screen. That was pretty funny although it was hard to see who damaged what sometimes. Also some people took over 9999 damage while I thought the max in FF games was 9999 HP, meh who cares? =P

Overall 9 out of 10, 5 out of 5. I really enjoyed watching this movie, and I don't think there are that much things to improve on. Maybe you could change the menuscreen at the end a bit, at least put some more colors in the background. Anyway, the outtakes at the end were also pretty cool, and I think it was a good idea to not put them in the movie, cause I don't think they would fit anywhere. Congrats with your award, I'm considering if I should add this submission to my favorites, I think I will. I'm off to watch some more of your movies now, keep up the excellent work and I hope to see part 6 soon.

Unfinished work

The animation in this was alright, but the movie was kinda short and in the end it just kept repeating the same scene over and over again. Also it doesn't really have a storyline or anything, it barely makes any sense at all. To me, it's just some stuff thrown together.

In my opinion, you should've worked on it a bit longer. I saw Mario was first in the Mario world chased by Samus and then he went to Sonics world. Maybe you could think of a little story there, just give a reason why this all happens. Also make the movie continue where it now stops, cause that was a pretty bad thing. If you do that, it automaticly won't be so short anymore, so that would make this flash a lot better. As for the rest, the animation was alright like I said, but still needs a bit more work, keep practicing with that. You could also add some sounds by the way, for when Mario jumps for example.

Overall 5 out of 10, 2 out of 5. Sorry, but I don't think this was that great. I personally think your first submission 'cigaro' was a lot better. I actually don't know if this would've passed judgement if it wasn't submitted on clockday. Anyway, this is some unfinished work in my opinion, so I can't give it more then a 5.

I wasn't really aiming for a stroyline. I just wanted some random insanity in this flash.

I know I should've worked on it longer, but Clock Day came here is this flash on the portal as an unfinished flash. I purposely uploaded the flash on Clock Day unfinished since it would've been easily saved. :)

Don't worry about the score. And I doubt this flash would've passed judgment if it was uploaded on a day other than Clock Day.

[Little Fighter Alpha Ch.7]

Finally found some time to write review

I finally found some time to review chapter 7. I can hardly remember what happened in part 6 and I also kinda forgot the backgroundstory of this series. Anyway, I think this was a nice episode once again. I liked this whole war between the monks and the knights, althought some different types of monks and knights would be nice (talking about that scene where they were all standing next to eachother). I also liked that finally one of the main characters dies in this series. He´ll probably come back in some later episode, but still it keeps the series interesting.

About the movie itself. The graphics were nice once again. The fights looked pretty good, but Bat needs a few more attacks I think. He´s always using those laser eyes and those bats, maybe you could add a few new ones. The music and the sounds were great like in all the episodes. I would give it a bit higher if you added voices, but that isn´t really necessary, it´s fine the way it is now. I should be glad you use a text box and not just throw the text somewhere on the screen which could make it unreadable. The menu was also pretty good, but I still think you should make a minigame there. I was thinking about that dancing game with those arrows. I´m not sure what it´s called, but I hope you know what I mean.

Overall 8 out of 10, 4 out of 5. Like I said, a nice episode. Two new characters, freeze and that ???? guy. I guess he´ll be the final boss. I wonder if you´re all busy working on part 9 now. I thought it has been a long while since part 8 came out. You should bring it out soon, otherwise people might forget about this series (if they haven´t forgotten already). Anyway, I´m off to watch part 8 now, I don´t think I will immediatly review it, but I´ll leave a review sooner or later. Good luck with making the rest of the series.

[people vs zombie]

Nothing really interesting happens

Well the music in this was decent, the sprites and the backgrounds looked pretty good, but it was still not that great. Like Lidov already mentioned, it didn't really had a storyline at all. I was expecting a nice story here, but it was just some shooting and explosions and that was it. You should add a story which explains were the zombies come from etc. It also needs a much better ending. I dunno who won the war or what happened, so next time at a nice story.

I also agree with him when he said that nothing interesting happens here. It's just the same the whole time, explosions and shooting. Make it a bit more interesting by adding some more different stuff. The zombies don't really kill anybody at all. Some bomb just flied from the right of the screen and killed some humans, but that was the only thing the zombies did. I expected some more blood and all that. It would make it look a bit better. As for the rest, a menuscreen would be nice. You could add a play button there, a scene-selection (but you should make it longer if you want to add that), the story maybe, credits and some other stuff you like to add.

Overall 5 out of 10, 2 out of 5. These were the only bad parts I could think of right now, but it are very important parts, so I can't give it higher then this. I still saved the movie, but I was close to giving it a 1. I hope you'll add a bit more work in it next time. Since the sprites, background and music are all pretty good, it shouldn't be that hard to make a good movie. I'd suggest you try to make a part two (or a remake). Anyway, keep it up and good luck with any other movies you're planning to make.

[Final Fantasy Day Care 5]

Glad an episode finally won a weekly users choice

Awesome movie once again, in my opinion, this was one of the best parts of the whole series, together with part 1 and 2. I didn´t liked the 4th episode that much for some reason. Anyway, the graphics in this were very good, everything was pretty well drawn and I´m glad you didn´t used sprites, cause there are already to many final fantasy sprite movies on Newgrounds (although I haven´t seen any lately). The sounds and music in this were also very good, although I think the voice-acting could be a little bit better, but it was still alright and doesn´t really need to be changed.

The interactivity in this was pretty nice, I know it was a movie, but I liked that timeline at the bottom of the screen. I haven´t seen any other movie that had one of those things yet. It´s much better then a scene selection. Too bad you didn´t added a menu-screen this time, I liked the ones in the first episode.

Overall 9 out of 10, 5 out of 5. Final Fantasy Day Care is still one of my favorite series on Newgrounds. I hope you´ll make more episodes someday. Anyway, I added this to my favorite animations togehter with episode 1, 2 and 3. Congrats with another daily feature and I´m glad you finally won a weekly users choice. Keep up the excellent work and I´ll hope to see more from you soon.
